Chapter 130 - Leaving the safe area

Sebastian wanted to leave the Inner city behind.

He did not know what Derrick would do next, so he opted for the most predictable course of action: heading back to the savanna through the same passage near the Stone Wind Gate.

The chances that someone might recognize him fueled Sebastian's unease, which was also incited by the worries about Rebecca.

The streets grew quieter as he neared the entrance. Only a handful of people were traveling, casting wary glances at him as they did.

His eyes darted around, searching for any sign of pursuit, but there was none.

Sebastian made his way through the streets of the Inner City, keeping his head down and walking in haste.

Soon he approached the area around the Stone Wind Gate. Here, there were more people around, making it more difficult to remain inconspicuous.

Sebastian turned down a narrow side street that would lead him to the secret passage.
