Sebastian headed toward the outside of the forest, Kenway's body in tow. He couldn't leave his friend to be ravaged by monsters, but taking it with him was risky.
After some time, Sebastian reached the edge of the forest, where it opened up to the ruins again and to the savanna.
From behind the trees, Sebastian peered through the foliage and saw a never-ending swarm of moundfang termites entering the ruins from the opposite side. It seemed like an unrelenting sea tide crashing against the rocks.
"Let's hope those things kill the Echo Revenant."
But it was unlikely. A tier two fanged could not be killed even by thousands tier zero.
Sebastian stayed hidden in the underbrush, knowing he couldn't enter the savanna with the massive termite swarm on the horizon. Maybe they wouldn't see it, but if they did, it would be the end. The real one this time.
