The sun's beams, lingering high in the sky, relentlessly hit the Savanna.

The heat was so strong, the golden grasses shimmered, and the small amount of shade provided little relief. It was making it difficult to breathe and walk over the open terrain.

Sebastian and his company entered the Moundfang Termites' domain with caution.

Deceptively tranquil in its appearance, the savanna spread out indefinitely before them, a wide expanse of golden grass blowing in the breeze beneath the blazing sun.

As they went deeper, the surroundings shifted. The broad, level grassland gave way to a rugged landscape peppered with big mounds.

These were not just dirt heaps; rather, these were the Moundfang termites' dwellings, each one brimming with potential danger.

The mounds resembled rugged hillocks with hard, crusty surfaces that had been fashioned from the savanna dirt by the not-so-little builders.
