Chapter 92 - Decisions

The group had no time to pause and reflect; they needed to flee from the Moundfang Termites immediately. 

Although their nest was some distance away, the territory these creatures controlled was vast. 

They roamed far from their nest, scouting the area in search of food, and they ate everything.

As a result, the group was never truly safe from stumbling across them, requiring constant vigilance as they moved through the termite-infested region.

"Do you think they are still chasing us?" Kenway asked.

He handed Leo's binoculars back to him after using them to scan the horizon for signs of the monstrous horde they had just escaped. 

Leo raised the binoculars to his eyes, adjusting the focus to get a clearer view of the landscape.

"They stopped, apparently." 

Beyond the horizon, the savanna lay eerily silent, a vast expanse void of its usual bustling wildlife.
