Whatever it was that the Quiver Lord struck, destroying it was what ultimately led to the Vexvine's death.

Sebastian was sure about that because a tremendous amount of mana was coursing through his body at that very moment.

It made little sense. Up until this point, Sebastian had only gotten a negligible quantity of mana from the monsters that he or his party members killed.

It was so insignificant that it was almost as if he had not received anything at all.

But now, maybe because the creature had much more mana than he had, Sebastian just gained an amount of mana that was the equivalent of three mana clusters.

The Rune Master was fighting against the urge to laugh.
