As Sebastian and his group continued their journey, the landscape before them changed many times. It was weird. Although this place featured sandy areas, hills, and a water oasis, its majority comprised grassy plains dotted with deadly monsters.
The savanna stretched as far as the eye could see—a sea of golden grasses that swayed in the breeze. It was as beautiful as it was scary, as there could be monsters everywhere.
"Sure, it looks peaceful, doesn't it?" Sebastian said, scanning the horizon.
"What?" Kenway asked.
"Nothing."
"How far are we from the forest?" The tall man asked.
"A week, approximately. We haven't decided yet what to do. Should we go?"
The group decided to try for a week and see how they fared against the surrounding fangeds before deciding to approach the edge of the forest and, of course, the edge of the citadel's area of influence.
