"Didn't they leave?" Leo asked.
"That's what Calvin said!"
"Calvin doesn't talk!" Leo said to Kenway. "Prepare the shield of virtue!"
Kenway moved forward, and the Sand Skimmers were almost in front of him. He lifted his shield and short sword.
"Come here, you bastards!" he said while he started moving his hands. The Sand Skimmers saw his tall body and lunged at him.
Kenway's armor covered most of his body. The ever-smiling knight's head was the only clue that there was meat inside that can.
The sand skimmers likely assumed there was meat inside. The problem was that five Sand Skimmers went toward the other three party members. Two on Sebastian, two on Calvin undead, and one on Leo.
Calvin immediately made his undead minions put themselves in a protective formation.
Every one of them engaged in combat with a sand skimmer, but Calvin had to help the grassland sprinter.
