Knight Leo stood, his expression grave. "I'm afraid we bring grave news, Miles."
The man didn't reply. He already had the hunch that their visit was because of something bad.
"There is a Venomshrike Horror approaching our city."
Miles' eyes widened in alarm. "A Venomshrike Horror? But that's... that's... How could such a beast be making its way here? What lured it here to begin with?"
"We don't know, but our scouts report it is likely the cause for the massive horde of fangeds heading here," Leo said.
He paused for a second.
"We don't know if, without your Giant's Bolt, we may be able to withstand the attack. That thing alone can destroy the walls."
Sebastian watched as Miles' face paled. The engineer was shaken by the news.
The man began pacing the room, muttering under his breath. His first thoughts were for his wife and child.
