Chapter 104 - Chapter 105- She Subconsciously Sang Along.

Standing side by side, the students eyes widened, and they turned dumb from shock, Harrison and Delilah were really compatible, even if they were masked and gloved.

Meanwhile, standing by his side was more nerve-racking than she'd ever thought, Delilah's head was downcast, her sweaty hands clasped together as she trembled slightly under the pressuring gaze of the students.

She couldn't help wonder what Harrison was thinking presently.

When the students found their voices,

" Wow, who would have thought they look this good side by side, it is so unbelievable" a boy laughed, holding his forehead in disbelief.

" Who said they look good together, Harrison looks good with anybody!" an envious girl rebuked.

" With whom? Someone like you? Oh, please" another girl remarked and rolled her eyes.

It soon resolved into an argument between the girls on who looks best with Harrison.

The instructors were stunned and speechless, Zhang Han's face was covered in seven layers of frost as he watched the girls argue, his piercing gaze landed on Harrison, who was motionlessly standing beside Delilah, he really never liked him.

Feeling the glower gaze on him, Harrison's gaze met Zhang Han's, but he didn't flinch or frown, his handsome features remained expressionless.

Zhang Han felt Harrison was trying to challenge his authority, not knowing Harrison actually didn't care if the girls ripped each other apart, the only girl he'd cared for was standing beside him, and it filled him with so much joy at the thought of it.

The argument among the girls was becoming so heated, that the instructors were about to shut off the gathering when the strings of a guitar resounded.

All heads turned to the stage, only to see Harrison, adjusting the strings of the guitar in his arms.

His long fair fingers ran over the strings and like that, the girls stopped arguing and turned their attentions to him, their eyes burning with expectation.

The two had taken their seats while the girls argued, Delilah was thinking of the song they'll sing when sound of the strings reached her ears. It was then she noticed the simple set of instruments behind their seats.

Harrison, expressionlessly began to play the guitar.

Stunned was the girl sitting beside him… that song, it was the same song he played during their freshman ceremony.

Her lips automatically separated, and a melodic voice flowed out as she subconsciously sang along.

She continued with him where he was, the chorus, eyes closed as she poured the lyrics that came to her mind out.

… Oh, love is but a chance, a silly little dance,

With giggles and glances, we're lost in a trance.

But who would've thought, in this childhood romance,

That a boy could be bold, and take a chance?

Harrison looked bewilderedly at her, for so long he has waited to sing this song with that girl, for so long.

His fingers on the strings trembled slightly as his heart shuddered, the corner of his eyes pricked and misted, he missed her so much.

The song went on, with Delilah singing and Harrison playing the guitar,

… Oh, so you think you're clever, with your pretty rhymes and schemes,

Don't forget I saw you blush when you tripped on your dreams.

You say she was your favourite, but I can't help wonder who you adore?

Is it the girl with the pigtails, or someone next door?

The audience listened with opened and fluttered hearts as they watched the two perform, even if they didn't know the song.

The girls couldn't help feeling envious and bitter, how can someone look that beautiful and have such a wonderful voice too?
