Aiden attempted to interact with the screen, but it remained stubbornly silent. Murmuring to himself, he acknowledged the futility of hiding.
"Survival hinges on action," he muttered, "not inaction. I have no clue how long I'll be trapped in this place."
This realization spurred him into action. He needed to find water, food, and hopefully, answers. Just as he delved deeper into his thoughts, a glint in the top-left corner of his vision shattered his concentration. It displayed a simple message.
[King Version, Day 1/30]
It tells him about the first day out of 30 days.
He then noticed a single letter, "S," etched in the top right corner of his vision. Intrigued, he focused on it, and a notification tab materialized before him.

A flurry of information bombarded Aiden's mind as he delved into the "Status" tab. Instantly, the contents materialized before him, leaving him momentarily stunned by the sheer volume of details.
While some terms like "Strength" and "Agility" held a vague familiarity, their specific meaning remained shrouded. Curiosity gnawed at him, and in a subconscious attempt to understand, Aiden focused his attention on "Strength." As if anticipating his silent query, another notification materialized, offering clarification.
[Strength: Increases muscle power and attack power.]
This unveiled information triggered a wave of understanding. Excitement bubbled within him as he replicated the process with the remaining attributes, each yielding its own explanation:
[Agility: Increases movement speed, reaction speed, and reflexes.]
[Vitality: Increases overall Health, regeneration properties, and immunity from diseases.]
[Spirit: Increases perception of time, thought processing speed, critical thinking, all five senses, and Spirit Pool.]
[Endurance: Increases overall Stamina and Body Constitution like bone density, tendon strength, ligament strength, skin hardness, and improves overall body defense.]
[Health=Vitality x 10, Stamina=Endurance x 10, Spirit Energy=Spirit x 5]
With newfound clarity, Aiden deciphered the relationship between these attributes. Health, Stamina, and Spirit Energy were apparently derived from the core attributes of Vitality, Endurance, and Spirit, respectively. Armed with this understanding, his focus shifted towards the remaining, still-enigmatic terms: Life Force, Level, and Innate Talent.
One by one, he directed his attention towards them.
[Life Force: Life Force is the Life Source of every being.]
[Through the Universal Cube Ability, you will absorb Life Energy by killing creatures.]
A jolt of unease ran through him as he processed the connection between Life Force and killing. The thought of taking another being's life, even in this strange new world, left an unpleasant taste in his mouth.
[LEVEL: Once Life Energy reaches a specific value, one can increase their level. With every level increment, a human will get 3 undistributed stats to boost Attributes to become powerful.]
[INNATE TALENT: Once assimilated with the Universal Cube, every individual will awaken an Innate Talent or Innate Skill, or their dormant Bloodline.]
Disappointment washed over Aiden like a bitter wave as he absorbed the information before him. No "Innate Talent," but something much less appealing for him – a "Bloodline."
He never heard anything about the bloodline things, as he didn't like reading books because of his blindness. He prefers to watch movies and most heroes have powerful abilities.
Moreover The Primordial Devil name did little to quell his unease. "Devil." It was a word his parents used to describe creatures of immense evil, who preyed on the innocent and reveled in chaos.
A memory flickered in the recesses of Aiden's mind. He was a child, nestled in his father's lap, enthralled by a tale of hero and Devil. The story painted devils as grotesque beings with forked tails and horns, they love to kill. When the tale ended, he had looked up at his father, his eyes wide with a little fear.
He remembered his father telling him in comforting voice, "But Devil don't prey on cute children.
The memory triggered a strange reaction. Aiden's normally placid, emotionless eyes began to spin with an unsettling rapidity, a stark contrast to the stillness that usually defined his expression.
"I'm not a child anymore, right, daddy?" he murmured unconsciously, the question hanging in the air of the desolate burrow.
His eyes searched the dark corners of the burrow, scanning for a response that would never come . As quickly as the episode began, it ended. His eyes returned to normal, the flicker of his childlike self fading away.
The emotions, whatever they were, retreated as quickly as they had appeared.
With a determined sigh, Aiden pushed the memory to the back of his mind, focusing on understanding the details of his Bloodline.
As if responding to his mental command, a notification materialized before him, glowing faintly in the darkness:

Primordial Predator: Devour any creature and obtain their particular genes with innate ability and fuse with your own existence.

Aiden sat there in the darkness as he looked at the screen, the silence broken only by his ragged breathing.
