"What's troubling you?" Victor Chadwick noticed Monica Baldwin placing her mobile phone down with a grim expression and couldn't resist asking quietly.
"Grandfather has brought Amelia back into the Baldwin family," Monica replied with a composed tone. "Edward Wilkinson asserts she has reformed, though I suspect she may cause us trouble. Amelia's temperament didn't form overnight; can it really change so suddenly?"
"With my mother keeping an eye on her, there's no need for concern," Victor reassured, aware of Thalia Summers' capabilities.
She had, after all, pursued studies in finance and swiftly assumed control over the Baldwin family's resources, administering them effectively and bolstering the family's performance that semester.
"I just worry that grandfather might face disappointment once more," Monica sighed softly. "Regardless, I hope she's truly left her past behavior behind."
