Chapter 14 - Chapter 13

I am not the owner of the characters, all rights belong to their respective authors. I write this story for fun.

After half a year, I finally released a new chapter, hehe.

"Satoru, I keep wondering why you train so much."

"Seriously, Sofi, are we going to discuss this again?"

"But I'm worried about you, Satoru. I know you train to be strong, but ever since the day I woke you up, you've been exercising more than ever and even coming home all injured. Your parents were very worried, and so am I."

"......"

"What's wrong, Satoru?"

"Memories of the past," he said in a very low tone that couldn't be heard, but this tone had a feeling of sadness, melancholy, and despair. Although Sofi couldn't hear Satoru's words, she could feel the change in the atmosphere around him. She approached him, hugged him, and touched his head to calm him down, even having to stand on her tiptoes to reach his head.

Feeling Sofi's action, Satoru couldn't hold back his emotions and let out a few small tears in silence to relieve the pain in his heart that he tried to forget. Sofi noticed this but said nothing and just stayed there hugging Satoru.

(I thought I could forget that memory with this new life. I easily accepted this change, taking on the role of Gojo Satoru, but it seems a bit of the old Takumi is still alive.)

"Do you feel better now?"

"A little, thanks, Sofi."

"Hehehe."

"Well, so you won't feel sad, tell me what you're trying to do."

"Oh, well, I was working on the next stage of my training, which is to concentrate cursed energy in my fist and, in a fraction of 0.000001 seconds after the punch, cause the space to distort and the cursed power to flash black. This way, achieving the technique known as Black Flash, and the power increases approximately 2.5 times."

"!!!!!!!!!!"

"So, you would be delivering a punch powered by your energy and then multiplied by 2.5 again!!!!"

"Yes, that's it, but the thing is, I haven't managed to do it yet."

"Why not?"

"Well, that's because I've been trying different methods and haven't found the right one. You might ask why, simply for fun and to see how cursed energy works. Thanks to that, I got Divergent Fist."

"Also, I don't have perfect control yet. Although I can see and feel it, it doesn't mean my body can follow that speed. For now, I have more control, but I'm still working on Divergent Fist."

"Divergent Fist???"

"Yes, this move is more of a mistake or a bad habit because when the cursed energy isn't synchronized with the instant release of power, it comes out with a delay. In other words, when I punch with a thin layer of cursed energy, it creates an irregular flow of energy that generates a delay and unleashes a second wave of cursed energy moments later, creating two impacts with one punch."

"It's like a powered punch, but it's not supposed to be a technique, though it can be useful in some cases."

"You try something and end up creating something else."

"Haha, just like that."

They continued their conversation with laughter and fun. Sofi sat by watching as Satoru punched a rock, testing his new method and trying to achieve the new technique he wanted, although he ended up getting another one, adding another technique to his catalog.

Time passed, and soon night began to fall. The birds went to their nests, the cows, sheep, pigs, and ducks went to sleep, and soon the moon appeared in the sky, and the stars began to light up the sky, creating a spectacular and relaxing view. Amid this scenery, two young people could be seen walking joyfully, Sofi and Satoru, both heading to their homes but stopping by Sofi's house first so her parents wouldn't worry about her.

In contrast, Satoru's parents, although concerned about their son, were a bit more relaxed because they knew his strength. Not only could he handle several tree trunks at once, or endure long distances, but he could also manipulate a different energy that allowed him to perform spells, not just any spell but quite a peculiar one. Yet, like any parent, they worried about their child.

Soon they arrived in the village, and Satoru left Sofi at her house, greeting her parents and watching her go inside before proceeding to his own house. His house was a bit far from the village, but he wasn't worried about being late because he knew his parents. Still, he used this moment to enjoy the beautiful night sky.

"You couldn't see this before, the stars shining in the sky along with the moon, a peaceful silence, and quite fresh air. In the city, you only heard the sound of cars, couldn't see the stars due to pollution, and the air was rather warm."

"I feel like I've changed a lot. I went from being an office worker or whatever job I had to a simple person living peacefully in a village."

"Hahaha, I feel serious and calm about many things, but in others, I behave somewhat childishly and a bit arrogantly, but this is because I'm Gojo Satoru."

"Reliving your childhood is quite pleasant, and now you don't have to worry about getting into a good university and getting a good job. Hehe, I want to see how I do in the magical knight exams."

Looking again at the beautiful night sky where the moon shone beautifully, a lovely and peaceful smile appeared on Satoru's face, and the moon's reflection could be seen in his crystal blue eyes, similar to the color of the sky when the sun shines. Satoru enjoyed this moment of tranquility as he continued his journey home.

*The next day*

"Alright, let me confirm this, father. You're telling me that the village wants to sell some items and materials to the capital, but it will take a few days to get there, so you want me to help carry the stuff to make it easier?"

"That's right."

"..... Didn't you think of using a horse to pull a cart with the materials?"

"......."

"...."

"You didn't think of it, did you?"

"Of course, we did, but that would lengthen the trip, and we have a shorter route, but the road is uneven, so taking the cart could be harmful."

"And how are you going to carry the stuff?"

"That's where you come in, my son."

"......" Sigh

"Because of my teleportation, which isn't perfect yet."

"But you can carry things, and that's what's important."

"Child exploitation."

"You arrive at the capital, find a sign that says THINGS FOR EVERYONE, give this note, and they will give you 20 coins."

"Where are the materials?"

*5 hours later*

*Breathing*

*Exhaling*

*Heavy breathing*

*Heavy exhaling*

"I won't..... transport things..... continuously without....... mastering..... teleportation."

"It's hard.... to keep things........ around me without....... them disappearing and..... reappearing in........ another place."

"You must be the builder's son, right? You're Satoru."

"Yes...yes....sir."

"Well, come in and leave everything in the shop."

After a long journey back and forth, Satoru arrived at the shop where the things he brought would be sold. But he was at his limit, where a bit more effort would cause him to faint since his 11-year-old body couldn't handle the load.

He had been teleporting with the material several times because he couldn't carry many things to do it quickly, and his teleportation wasn't perfect, so he had to teleport in parts. Doing it several times over a long distance caused him to overexert himself.

But it was impressive that he managed to accomplish the task, though he ended up extremely tired and now just wanted to find a bed to rest.

"Sir...could I....stay for..... a while to..... rest?"

"Of course, go to the next room; there's a sitting room where you can rest for a while."

"Thank you."

Without saying more, he went straight to the sitting room to rest his body. As soon as he reached the door, he used his last bit of strength to open it and threw himself onto the couch to rest his body.
