In a wooden house, Satoru is eating an apple while watching his mother arrange the family's clean clothes. Satoru watches his mother for a while as she organizes his clothes, then speaks up.
"Mom, I'm going out for a walk."
"But be careful and don't wander too far. Also, come back before mealtime. Did you hear me, Satoru?" She says in an authoritative tone, looking at her son.
"Yes, Mom, I won't wander too far and I promise to be back in time for mealtime." Satoru agrees with his mother's words and decides to follow them to avoid getting scolded.
After informing his mother that he's going out for a walk, Satoru hugs his mother and quickly leaves the house to go to an open space nearby. Upon arriving at the location, he checks that there are no people around so he can be at peace. He looks around carefully for a few minutes before sitting down on the ground and taking out a book he had in his backpack.
(I could be in my room to read the book, but it feels more comfortable to be in an open place with quite clean air.)
Satoru closes his eyes to feel the air blowing, and for a moment, a sense of peace and tranquility washes over him. After a few seconds, he opens his eyes, sits on the grass in a lotus position, and opens his book to start studying it.
[Basic Knowledge]
"What a simple name they could give him."
[Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer in the modern world of Jujutsu Kaisen, was born into the Gojo clan, one of the three great sorcery clans. The Gojo clan is known for producing sorcery talents, but what stands out the most are the blood inheritance abilities they possess, the six eyes, also known as Rokugan. These eyes hold immense power that allows the user to become significantly stronger. The Unlimited Cursed Technique, also known as Mukagen, is a hereditary cursed technique among the members of the Gojo Clan, with offensive/defensive attacks. It enables precise manipulation of space at an atomic level, resulting in various subsequent techniques within the overall capacity.]
"Just by looking at the description of these two abilities, I can already say that Satoru Gojo's character was extremely overpowered. Being able to see many things through those eyes and a technique that manipulates space, it's clear how powerful he is."
[To begin, one must have basic knowledge of certain subjects like biology, chemistry, history, among others, to develop a person's intelligence. Then there is mastery in physics and mathematics, because knowledge is power.]
"In other words, being intelligent makes you strong."
[It might not seem like it, but Satoru Gojo is an intelligent individual who mastered several subjects to understand the infinite. As a first step, one must study the following topics to start with the Unlimited Technique.]
[Once you have mastered the necessary knowledge, you can start practicing cursed energy. But first, it's essential to understand that Cursed Energy is the result of one's negative emotions, originating from the metabolism of the soul and naturally flowing throughout the body. Since people can't control the flow of their cursed energy, it escapes their bodies and turns into curses. However, sorcerers, unlike ordinary people, have the ability to control this energy flow, granting them a series of abilities and the capacity to perform various techniques.]
[Satoru Gojo possesses a vast amount of cursed energy, allowing him to use techniques powerfully. But by adding the power of the six eyes, Satoru Gojo doesn't need to expend cursed energy to use his techniques. This gives him the power to continue attacking without depleting his cursed energy. However, even if he doesn't use his cursed energy, his body might get tired after using his techniques multiple times, so it's recommended to have good physical fitness to withstand the power of the techniques.]
"This is too much; I have to study all of this if I want to be as strong as him." Satoru was surprised to see the number of pages after reading this note. He thought it would be a little, but with each page he turned, more and more pages appeared, seemingly endless. It took him a few seconds to reach the end of the book and find a note written:
[There is no shortcut; this is basic knowledge to use techniques. At the age of 5, you will be given a book explaining how to use cursed energy, how to manifest your technique, and how to use your spells.]
"And here I thought I escaped university, but all this seems like I'm studying for a master's in engineering," Satoru lies down upon seeing the amount of information he needs to study now to become as strong as Satoru Gojo.
He lies on the grass for a while, contemplating what he should do next. He looks at the thin book in his hand, although it actually has quite a few pages, easily surpassing 6,000. After hesitating a bit about whether or not to study, he decides to do it, even though he knows it won't be an easy task. He gets up from the grass and walks back home, not taking long to arrive.
"I'm back, Mom."
"Oh, Satoru, you're back a little early." His mother's voice sounded quite surprised to see her son back home so soon. Knowing her son's curious and restless nature, and that he usually takes a long time to return home because he spends his time exploring everything around him, she sometimes catches him staring off as if he's observing something that caught his attention.
"Yes, I was surprised too, but I got a little hungry." Satoru says the first thing that comes to mind because the real reason he returned home is that he's somewhat saddened by the amount of studying he has to do.
"Well, go wash your hands; your father will be home soon, and then we'll all eat."
"Alright, Mom."
Satoru returns to his room, where he places the book on his bed. He goes to the bathroom to wash his hands, and when he comes out, he goes straight to the kitchen to help his mother set the table. While setting the plates, his father arrives.
"I'm home, family."
"Hello, dear."
"Hi, Dad."
"So, how's everyone?" Satoru's father goes straight to the kitchen to hug his wife and give her a small kiss, then he goes to Satoru and messes up his hair a bit with his right hand.
"Alright, dinner's almost ready, so go wash your hands."
"Same old, Dad."
"And what's the same old thing, son?"
"Exploring, going back and forth, questioning the existence of the universe, whether we are humans created by God or if God created us to be humans."
"..." x2
"Sometimes I forget you sound like an old man tired of life."
"I don't know, maybe I am." His parents look at Satoru with a concerned look because of the words he just said, while Satoru is pretty calm because technically, he is an old man, well, a 36-year-old adult in a 4-year-old body.
"But I still love exploring." Seeing the room's atmosphere, Satoru decides to show his childish side and expresses himself to his parents with a big smile and a thumbs-up.
His parents, seeing how his son's attitude changed, let out a sigh of relief but still have a concerned look because they know their son can sometimes be an adult with a lot of knowledge or a playful little child who sometimes seems a bit clueless.
"Alright, let's go to the table; dinner's ready."
"What did you cook today, Mom?"
"It's a surprise, Satoru." She gives her son a loving smile while placing the food on the table, but seeing that smile from his mother gives him an uncomfortable feeling about the type of food she made. And he wasn't the only one who felt that way; his father also noticed that smile and just sighed in frustration because he knows what his wife cooked, her worst dish that never turns out well.
"Son, don't worry, maybe the next life will be better."
"But this is already my second life, Father." Satoru says it in a hushed tone so no one hears him.
"Don't worry; I'm sure I got it right this time."
Both Satoru and his father turn to look and see the dish his mother/wife brought. It had a strange color, appearing purple with brown and black spots, emitting a weird smell.
"Well, I hope you enjoy it."
"It's poison." x2
"Excuse me?"
"Whoever isn't afraid of death shouldn't be born." Both father and son take a spoonful of the food and put it in their mouths, chewing slowly before swallowing. Both wanted to show a disgusted face but held back, though they soon turned pale and ended up falling from their chairs.
*Thump*
"What???"
"But this time I followed the instructions."
Hearing this, both Satoru and his father turned even paler because they had tried the dish before, but compared to this, it seemed more disgusting than ever, and soon they started foaming at the mouth just imagining the taste.
