Chapter 93 - Questioning

Jules' pov 

 

 

      Blaze's father reminded me of my father. I've only heard a few things about him, but so far, he sounded as scary and ruthless as my father was, but worse.

 

Kim had to take a few moments to gather himself together first, and that was when I noticed how dim his face was. He's usually full of life, like an energy radiation embodiment. But right now, it looked like the life has been sucked right out of him.

 

"They um, they believed what I told them, that we were ambushed and Jules got rescued by the anonymous person." He finally started to speak and Blaze hummed in response, right before his fingers started to trace weird lines against the lower part of my stomach, above the cotton material of my top. 

 

"But, they found it hard to believe that I was left alive…" Kim trailed off to inhale deeply, and his eyes darted around for a moment before he continued.
