Jules pov
"I…" I trailed off, biting at the inside of my mouth, unsure of how to say. Blaze was still staring at me, clearly waiting for me to say something.
I swallowed emptily and brushed my hair out of my face, and then I shifted a little in my seat.
"I transferred because… because, the other school, they were…"
I trailed off because I was still unable to come up with something reasonable to say.
"Did you transfer because you were getting bullied?" He asked and my eyes widened as I stared at him.
I remained frozen for a few moments before vigorously nodding my head in response, and then I regretted doing that almost immediately because lying to him didn't feel great in any way, it only felt really terrible at the pits of my stomach.
