Chapter 31 - Getting Help

Jules' pov

"You're falling behind on almost every subject, Mr. McCarthy." The school counselor said after taking a long glance at my file. I had been summoned to his office and that was the first thing he said after welcoming me in.

Even long after I exited his office, the entire thing he said was all I could think of. It made me extremely worried. I needed to keep my grades up, especially if I want to still remain in this school. Keeping my grades up means securing a spot in this school and not attracting unwanted scrutiny from the school itself upon myself, and that's exactly what I needed to focus on for now.

Most of the subjects they teach in this school are subjects I've never encountered before, but clearly I needed to start studying those subjects if I still want to remain hidden in this school.

The counselor had recommended I find a tutor, and that's what I've been pondering on since I exited his office.
