    My father apparently searched for the will in order to destroy it, but my grandfather had it stored in the hands of an invincible confidante. The day I left the palace for the first time, the confidante approached me and handed the will over to me. It contained a lot of riches and resources all under my name. My grandfather left me a note and a little recording clip." He paused for a moment and I remained silent, not wanting to interrupt.

 

"He didn't say much in it, because I was technically a stranger to him. He didn't know what I looked like because my father kept me hidden from everyone. In the clip, he introduced himself and told me he didn't think I was a monster. Then he urged me to burn through his riches because I'd never be able to finish it. And that was it."
