     "It does?" I questioned and he hummed.

 

He leaned back against the couch before continuing.

 

"Did he ask you to stay away from me and to not trust me?" He asked and once again, I slowly nodded my head in response. Blaze didn't get angry, nor was he surprised. If anything, it seemed like that was the answer he had been expecting.

 

"And did he ever mention my father?"

 

I felt my heartbeat accelerate at the mention of his father. I didn't even know anything about him not he gave me the creeps and the chills.

 

"He…" I trailed off, feeling extremely hesitant.

 

Andrian said a lot of things about Blaze's father, and they all directly involved Blaze, because Andrian was convinced Blaze was working with his father. I didn't want to make Blaze feel weird or annoyed should I mention that, but I also didn't want secrets between us.
