Jules' pov

 

 

          "Mass murder?" Blaze repeated and I held my breath as I tentatively nodded.

 

I was nervous as hell. If he ends up believing that I had a hand in the murder, it's gonna completely shatter me.

 

Blaze rolled his eyes this time before speaking. "Were the people who made that up being serious? You cannot even hurt a fly."

 

"You believe me?" I whispered, almost on the verge of tears. 

 

He stared at me for a moment longer before cupping the side of my face with his palm.

 

"Of course I do. Why? You think I wasn't gonna?" He asked and I felt relieved tears sprang to my eyes as I shook my head. 

 

Blaze thumbed the tears away before they could roll down my cheeks.

 

"No crying, bunny. I hate it when you cry, remember?"

 

I tried to sniff back the rest of my tears, blinking a couple of times.
