Chereads / Creating games in the future / Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

I spent some time creating a work schedule, it took me all afternoon, but it was worth the effort, I ended up dividing the work into several parts.

General creation of the world, this will be dedicated to implementing the flora and fauna of the planet, architecture, basically focusing on the houses, buildings, palace and the general designer of any infrastructure.

In addition to npc, enemies, boss, clothes, weapons, culture and more, each of them has subcategories, so I can organize myself and know what has been done and what is missing.

After organizing everything, I went to sleep on the sofa, unbelievable, this should be the future, because nobody has created some things that prevent visitors from stealing my room.

Sigh

After mentally complaining a few times, I managed to fall asleep, the next morning Mom woke me up, I did my exercises, then defense training.

In the afternoon we went to the mall. This place is simply unbelievable, it's like a small town, apart from a building tall enough to pass through the clouds, around it you can see squares full of stores.

Huge streets, full of people walking from one side to the other, as we flew past to the parking lot, I could see hundreds of small stores, selling all kinds of things, clothes, toys, furniture, vehicles, insurance, even lungs?

"That store sells organs? That's bizarre."

Jade rolled her eyes when she heard me say that.

"Don't tell me you're like those damn Protestants who keep shouting about pure humans.

I don't know what's so bizarre about that! If you need a kidney, a lung or a heart, you come here and buy it, what's the problem?"

"Protestants? No, I just find it strange that I'm walking down the street and someone offers me a lung."

"I think it's amazing, these artificial organs are super useful, I'd like to see how they're made."

"Artificial?!"

"...."

"...."

"You don't think they're human organs, do you?"

"...."

"Yeah... obviously not!!!"

"Puuffff, hahaha, I can't believe it, you really thought they were people's organs, hahaha."

"No, I was just curious"

"Hahaha, it's okay, kids have that doubt sometimes, don't worry, your big sister Jade will teach you everything, hahaha."

(Damn, she won't let me forget that.)

......

We walked around for a while, passing several stores, while we were walking randomly I saw a small map of the place, 10km² around the center is part of the mall.

All this space is taken up by various stores, everything is separated by sectors, as the place is too big to explore on foot, all the streets work like escalators, if you need to go to a store that's a bit far away, you just go down the street and wait until it reaches the sector you want.

All of this is incredible, and exaggerated, and I haven't even entered the main building yet, Mom said that all the stores there are very expensive, and only the richest people go there to store.

Obviously we can go in and look at the products, but I'm not interested in looking at a bunch of overpriced stores where I can't buy anything.

"Hey, little boy, don't get distracted, stay close to big sister, hehe."

"Won't you stop it?!"

"Hahaha, that's why I always tell you to go out more, if you'd come with me and your sister, you'd know about these things, hahaha."

"Okay, okay...hmmm"

As I looked around, trying to ignore the taunts, I saw a strange store, it's very old, the paint is worn off, there aren't any flashy light signs, but because it's the only store so old and decaying, it stands out from the others.

 Hmm, an abandoned store."

"Where? Ah, that's a very old store, it sells musical instruments, this store has been there for a few hundred years, but it rarely has any customers, I think it's just the owner's hobby."

"Musical instruments... can we have a look?"

"All right, but then we'll get some clothes for your sister."

If someone were to ask me what I thought of this world, my answer would be tediously convenient, everything here is designed to be useful and convenient.

That's obviously not a bad thing, but it's definitely boring, if you need something, anything, it can be made and delivered to you within minutes, even knowledge can be put directly into your brain, even if it's limited, it still completely skips the basics of the learning process.

After recovering the memories of my past life, it became clear to me that the people of that time had lost a good deal of their manual skills.

When it comes to weapons, war, battleships and anything related to combat, it's easy to find literally trillions of military otakus, but if you want a clay jug or a handmade watercolor painting, you won't find it, not that anyone will want it, but if you do, you won't get it.

It was only now, looking at a store that sells musical instruments, that I realized there's probably hardly anyone who knows how to play these instruments, after all they all use AI to make their music.

And even if you have implanted the knowledge of how to play a musical instrument, just having the knowledge of how to do something doesn't mean you can do it.

In my past life, the only instrument I learned to play was the guitar, then I learned a bit of piano, but only to do a few puzzles, so I'm not even a beginner.

I went into the store thinking I'd get a familiar glimpse of the musical instruments I'd known in the past, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

When I opened the front door, I found a very clean store, much like those antique stores, full of all kinds of items, some even with a small sign on the side explaining the name, price, and what kind of instruments they were.

All the items were very well cared for, not even a speck of dust could be seen, and as I looked around, for the first time since I regained my memories, I had a true understanding of how long it had been since my death.

All this time, I've been thrilled by all the technology around me, but walking into this store and slowly walking down the aisles, I saw hundreds of items, but I didn't recognize a single one.

They were all musical instruments, but they looked like pieces of technology, with strange shapes, screens and various inputs and buttons, if one of these items were to be found in my past life, it would be recognized as the most advanced technology in the world.

But here they are, in an old store, forgotten by everyone and treated like real antiques, some of these instruments are over two thousand years old.

I'd already read about the Great War, and a lot about the history of the human race, but this was the first time it really entered my head, almost like a snap, "Ah, so it's been that long."

I didn't feel sad, but a little nostalgic and with a small feeling of strangeness, I continued walking around the place, after a few minutes, I found some familiar instruments, a guitar, a violin, a piano, or I think it is, it is round with a red leather bench circling it, the keys also circle the entire body of the piano, it doesn't make much sense, you probably need about six people to be able to play a song.

I looked around, the girls each went their separate ways, it was probably their first time seeing these "old things".

I kept walking, trying to figure out how these oddly-shaped instruments worked.

It was in a corner near the counter that I saw a guitar, looking closely it didn't seem to be made of wood, obviously not, while I was analyzing it I heard a voice behind me.

"You like that one."

"Hmm?!"

An old lady was standing behind me, I didn't even notice when she got here, mom also appeared from behind some items.

"I was just curious, I've read about it."

"Oh yeah, that's great, kids these days don't care about knowing these things, I'd like to hold it, even though it's just a replica it's still as good as the originals."

"Originals?"

"Oh, you don't know? Soon after we lost our homeland, many soldiers got together to sing songs and remember our lost planet, and the guitar was the most used instrument back then, but unfortunately with the war getting fiercer and fiercer, these little moments slowly disappeared.

Unfortunately with the passage of time, few people have taken an interest in something so "archaic", but there are still a few enthusiasts.

So even if the ones used to remember our past at the start of the Great War no longer exist, we can still make our own."

"That's very interesting... so I can hold it?!"

"Hehe, here."

As soon as I picked up the guitar, it immediately shrank in size, adapting to my height - this technology never ceases to amaze me.

Holding the guitar, I felt very nostalgic, it made me think about why I got into the games industry, looking around, I saw a sofa for customers to sit on, not that there was any.

Sitting down on the sofa, I began to slowly strum the strings of the guitar, several thoughts began to run through my head, almost unconsciously, I began to tune the guitar
