Chapter 63 - Stalker, Part 2

Gabby paces back and forth in her room. "It's a good thing that mom isn't home right now. If I came home without Luis then she'd be freaking out! Oh, who am I kidding? I'm freaking out too!" She cries. "Luis said that he would go left bait out the stalker. Well, he left and he's not home? So I guess he's successfully beat out the stalker? Maybe Luis is fighting the stalker fight now, and It's taking a while. I'm sure that he'll be home soon!" Gabby paces back and forth a bit more. "Luis would be worried if he gets home and I'm not here...so it would be bad if left…" More pacing. "Oh, who am I kidding! I've driven to Luis's dorm house with mom, I know the address, I'm going!" Gabby storms out of the house. "Don't worry Luis, I'm coming to save youuuu!!!"

Knock knock knock. Grover hears a knock, and teleports over to open it.

"Luis, you've shrunk! And you've become a girl!" Grover cries.

"Um, no…" Gabby stammars.

"Where's Luis, ain't he with ya'?" Grover asks.

"Um, don't freak out...but Luis might be missing…" Gabby answers.

Grover and Gabby pause for a moment, before they both let out a blood curdling scream.

"What do you mean missing?! What happened?!" Grover cries.

"So...Luis thought that there was a stalker following us, so we split up and Luis attempted to draw the stalker out. He told me to go home and wait for him, but it's been a while and Luis still isn't home! The stalker might have captured him!" Gabby panics.

"Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, hold on! I'll rally the troops!" Grover cries. "Jamie! Austin! Mikey! Get down here!"

"What?! What happened?!" Jamie asks as she makes her way up from the gym.

"Where's Luis?" Austin asks as he makes his way to the front door as well.

:I'm still on suspension. You better not ask me to do something," Mikey yawns as he makes his way down from his bedroom.

"I think...I think Luis has been kidnapped!" Gabby stammers.

"EH?! What's this little girl shouting about?" Mikey asks as he pokes Gabby's cheeks.

Gabby puffs her cheeks out in frustration. "I'm Luis' little sister, Gabby!" Gabby snaps as she flails her arms from side to side. "I'm Luis's sister! I think someone got my brother!"

Mikey is silent for a moment.

"Um…hello?" Gabby asks.

"AW HELL YEAH, FINALLY, LUIS GOT CAPTURED! OH YEAH, THIS IS GREAT! NOW I CAN GO SAVE LUIS AND SETTLE THE SCORE!" Mikey cheers.

Hell yeah! Finally, Luis got captured! Oh, this, this is great! Now I'm not the only one who got captured, and I can go save him now!" Mikey celebrated.

"Wait...you're glad that my brother was captured?" Gabby snaps.

"Yeah, I hate that guy," Mikey apathetically replies.

"Don't let Mikey fool you, he and Luis are rivals! Mkey is just glad that he gets a chance to prove his strength!" Grover laughs, causing Mikey to throw daggers at me.

"Either way, show us where Luis was captured, and fill us in on the details on the way," Austin orders.

"Oh, and we might need this, Luis might need to fight his stalker!" Gabby says as she struggles to pick up Luis' sword, which was leaning against a nearby wall, left there by Luis himself. "Jeez…it's heavy. I can't believe Luis carries this thing around…"

"I got it," Mikey grumbles as he snatches the sheathed katana out of Gabby's hands, slinging it over his shoulder. Mikey notices Gabby staring at him out of the corner of his eyes, with a blush on her face. "What is it?" He grunts. Gabby doesn't reply.

Gabby leads the group to where Luis first noticed the stalker. "This corner here is where we split up, I headed right to home, while Luis headed left," Gabby explains. "If I know my brother, then he would have turned here and..."

"A deadend?" Jamie interrupts.

"Yes, if Luis wanted to confirm that he had a follower, he would have turned into a deadend to confirm his theory, though it is a double edged sword. On one hand he confirms his stalker, on the other hand he's cornered," Ausitn explains.

"Hey, look!" Grover shouts as he points towards a scrap of blue cloth on the ground.

"Hey, this scrap matches the piece on Luis' stupid hoodie that he always wears!" Gabby cries.

"Luis must have ripped this off as a clue!" Austin deduces.

"You overestimate his intelligence. You said he is being tailed by a stalker, right little girl? His clothes probably got ripped in a fight," Mikey apathetically replies.

"Oh, does that matter? Let's just find him already!" Gabby snaps.

"We need a tracking dog. If we had one then we could follow Luis's scent with ease" Austin replies.

"Maybe we can ask the Organization for help?" Jamie asks.

"Yeah, like they'd give us help," Mikey snorts as he rolls his eyes.

The group ponders for a moment. "Oh! I have something far better than a tracking hound! Give me a second, I'll be back as soon as I can!" Gabby shouts, then runs off.

"Do they have a pet dog or something?" Mikey asks.

"I don't think so, I feel like we would have heard about it by now" Jamie replies.

"Wait! Luis and Gabby don't have a pet dog, but they do have a pet cat! Could she be…?" Grover asks.

"No way. A tracking cat? That would be absurd," Austin replies.

"Yeah, wouldn't that be funny?!" Grover laughs.

The group laughs nervously, then went silent.

Gabby returns a little bit later. "I have it!" Gabby cries as she jogs over to the Pro Slayers. "Tada! It's our pet cat, Mr Kittles!" Gabby says as she presents the feline to the group.

"You're kidding, right? A smelling nose cat? It's not a dog, you know," Austin skeptically replies.

"Hey! Don't doubt Mr Kittles's abilities! He's Luis' best friend! If someone could track Luis down, I know it's Mr Kittles!" Gabby snaps.

"His...his best friend is a cat? That's pathetic!" Mikey stammer, trying to hold back his laughter.

"Mikey do you even have friends?" Jamie sarcastically asks.

"Don't need 'em," Mikey apathetically replies.

Gabby then places the fluffy cat to the ground and picks up the blue piece of fabric, holding it up to Mr Kittles' nose. "Now boy, go track Luis, seek!" Gabby orders.

Mr Kittles sniffs at the blue cloth, then sniffs around at the ground for a bit. Mr Kittles looks up at the squad and lets out a "meow," as if saying "follow me," then takes off running.

"Follow that cat!" Gabby orders, and the squad takes off running after Mr Kittles.

"Ow!" I cry as my stalker tosses me onto the ground. The stalker pulls the bag off of my head, and I look around. We're in a dark, candle lit room. Dust and cobwebs litter the walls and floor. The glass windows are cracked and some of them boarded up. There are also holes in the wood planked floor. My legs and hands are bound behind me with a tight rope, uncomfortably. "Where are we?" I ask.

"We are in a long-since abandoned building. No one will be finding you here," my stalker explains.

"Can you at least put the lights on?" I grumble.

"The power is out. Besides, putting the lights on would attract attention to this building. No one is supposed to be in here," my stalker explains.

"Well since we're going to be together for a bit, mind telling me your name?" I ask.

My stalker is silent for a bit, then opens his mouth to speak. "Daniel," he answers. What a normal name for such an intense guy?

"Daniel…" I ask, trying to indicate for my stalker to say something else.

"Reaper," Daniel eventually answers. Okay…not a normal name anymore.

"Reaper? Like...the Grim Reaper?" I ask.

"Yes. My father, his name is Death. He doesn't have a last name, but he gave me the last name, Reaper, rather than using my mom's last name," Daniel explains. Daniel sure doesn't mind telling me about himself. Way different than all my other opponents so far.

"Wait...Death? Isn't that the name of one of the…" I begin to ask, but Daniel cuts me off.

"Yes. My father is Death of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse," Daniel answers. The Demon King."

My heart begins pounding, cutting out all other noise. All of my blood rushes into my head, so much blood, that I begin to grow woozy.

"Death...of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse? The Demon King?!" I ask. "You're joking, right?!"

"No, I'm not joking," Daniel replies. "I…am a half demon."

My eyes widen.

"A…half demon?" I ask. "Are those even real, can a human and a demon even mate?!"

"Yes," Daniel answers. "At least the humanoid demons."

"Humanoid demons?" I ask. "Like you?"
