"When we descended to the dining table, we noticed everyone looking at us, or more precisely, at Caera, because her bloody eye, despite my attempts to wash it, revealed that she had been crying.

When I saw my father's hostile glares, I understood what I had done.

But shamelessly, I walked up to the table and pulled Caera along with me.

Now, we are sitting at the table, and Caera is sitting beside me, completely indifferent to everyone, while I eat my meal.

Everyone is watching us. I have no idea why they are watching us right now.

"Now, why are you all staring at me?" I said, putting the fork on the table with a chilly voice.

"N-Nothing's wrong," Arthur stammered.

"I want an answer, Arthur, not your nonsense," I said with the same tone.

"What happened between you and why was Caera crying?" my mother asked.

"It's about something between us, related to a previous issue we had experienced," I lied, my voice icy.

"Then, we won't interfere anymore, but Osto, you must treat Caera kindly, or else I won't let you back into the house," my mother said.

I was shocked to hear this. How could a mother kick out her son for a girl?

"The kindest person you could ever find is me, mother," I said with a mocking tone.

Everyone who heard my words looked at me in surprise, but I thought it was time to put an end to this.

"Could you all finish your meals and stop staring at us?" I said with an unyielding tone.

After hearing my words, everyone stopped looking at us and started eating.

After finishing the meal, we left for training with Caera.

I went to bed in the evening, and my door was knocked again. When I opened it, I was greeted by sweet Caera.

I think I found a cuddle pillow for the nights to come.

4 MONTHS LATER

I woke up to another morning. Indeed, for the past 4 months, I've been doing almost the same things.

Next to me, I saw Caera smiling at me, and I leaned down to kiss her forehead.

Her smile widened, and I hugged her tightly.

For the past 4 months, the only enjoyable things in this monotonous place were Caera and the little dragon, Nocturne.

Today, I'm starting my professorship at the Xyrus Academy.

During these 4 months, I also worked on perfecting my Aether core and merging my cores.

Now, I've merged two of my cores, leaving only the Aether core, which I have started merging slowly.

"Let's go to breakfast, my love," I said to Caera, and she grumbled sleepily.

"Can't we sleep a little more?" Caera asked sleepily.

"Okay, but we can't be late. Today is your first day at school, even though you won't learn much there," I said.

"Fine, but you have to carry me to the table," Caera said in response, and I smiled at her and lifted her into my arms.

As we headed towards the stairs, she started talking.

"L-Let me down; we can't go like this," Caera said. Despite washing her face, her red face was still visible, and I looked at her blushing face but didn't let her go.

"C-Don't touch me," Caera said again, stuttering, but I ignored her.

"Why shouldn't I touch you?" I said, pulling her closer.

"Let's go, Caera; I don't want to keep the others waiting," I said, smiling, and Caera had to follow me because she knew I wouldn't let her go.

When we descended to the breakfast table, the first thing I saw was Elijah's scowling face. I didn't care about it and sat at the table.

After the meal, we all went to the Xyrus Academy together.

At the door, we said goodbye to Caera, and I kissed her cheek, telling her, "Take care of yourself. If someone messes with you, don't hesitate to turn them into ashes."

She kissed me back, and as they went their way, I entered the academy through a different entrance.

Cynthia welcomed me. "Hello, Cynthia, it's been a long time," I said, and she smiled at me.

"It might be short for you, but we haven't talked for a few months," Cynthia said.

"You may think it's short, but for me, it's a long time," I said to Cynthia with a forced smile.

"Apostolos, you are still the same. You should pay more attention to your feelings and youth; these times won't come again," Cynthia said with a wise demeanor.

At that moment, I wondered what would happen if she knew I was over 95,000 years old. Then, something I didn't want happened, and some more memories from the limbo came back to me.

Trying not to show that I was disturbed, I did my best, but my attention had already been distracted.

After a while, I woke up to Cynthia's voice.

"Hey, Apostolos, wake up. What happened?" Cynthia said, waving her hand in front of me.

"Nothing, just something crossed my mind," I said to Cynthia.

Seeing that I didn't explain, Cynthia didn't pry, and she showed me around the academy.

While walking through the academy, Cynthia received a message informing her that it was time to start the student admission speech.

"Now I have to go and start my speech; if you want, you can sit in a corner and watch," Cynthia said.

I followed her, hoping to see my girlfriend.

She started the speech and introduced the student council. I saw Tessia, and she looked at me and Arthur.

The speech continued for a while and then ended. I took Caera and walked around for a bit.

After a while, we came across Arthur, a few students, and members of the student council.

"What's going on here?" I said, looking at Tessia.

"Ah, Osto, it's been a long time," Tessia said, smiling.

"What happened, Tessia?" I asked her, coldly, without any objection in my voice.

"I saw Arthur and another kid fighting. I intervened when this person was about to break the other kid's arm, and then he pulled a weapon against me," Arthur explained.

Another voice was heard, and I saw that it was Clive from the Student Council.

"Who do you think you are, interrogating students like this? You're not even a student; you shouldn't be here," Clive said.

He spoke, and I slapped him.

*CLAP*

"Don't talk without being asked. Quietly watch, and stay where you are. If you speak again, I'll cut off your head," I said, looking at Clive.

"Now, let's talk about you. Why did you do it?" I said to the guilty person.

"This person was about to break the other kid's arm outside the duel, and I intervened. Then, he drew a weapon against me," Arthur said.

Another voice was heard, and it was Clive from the Student Council.
