Volume 1: Prologue

"In the heart of Technoteria, where technology meets the arcane, a whisper between two worlds shall begin."

Chapter 1: Technoteria Perspective:

Year 2170:

The sky tore open, unleashing nightmarish entities upon the battlefield. Mecha users, humanity's guardians, engaged in a desperate struggle. Takuya's missile extinguished one creature, but a colossal aberration, adorned with a sinister purple gem, emerged, mercilessly attacking a fellow mecha user.

Takuya's urgent command echoed, "Hold the line! We can't let it breach any further!" His attempts to thwart the colossal beast with a missile proved futile, revealing an adversary immune to conventional weaponry.

Desperation filled Takuya's voice, "We need a new strategy! It's adapting to our attacks!" The mecha users faced an inscrutable foe, and in the shadow of the celestial rupture, the fate of mankind hung in precarious balance.

Amidst the chaos, echoes from the past whispered, unveiling events that would reshape the destiny of these warriors. A cryptic prelude to the impending storm, entwined with secrets that began unfolding three years before...

-----------------

*Yawns* Kurumi wakes up, mumbling, "Is it morning already?" Stretching, the warmth of her cozy blanket clings to her, and the soft hum of the awakening city seeps through her bedroom window..

L she made her way to the bathroom, cool tiles providing a refreshing contrast beneath her feet. Water's soothing sound filled the air as she washed away sleep's remnants, the invigorating scent of her favorite lavender soap lingering.

After patting her face dry, she strolled into the hall, morning light casting a gentle glow, painting walls with hues of gold. A blinking holographic message awaited her from her mother.

"Hello, Mom. What is it?" she asked, a curious spark in her eyes.

"Kurumi, my dear, how are you? Did I wake you up?"

"Nah, you didn't wake me up, Mother. I just woke up early. Why are you calling me?"

"I'm sorry, my dear. Your dad and I went to work and won't be back for a month."

Kurumi's expression shifted, a mix of disappointment and understanding.

"Oh, let me guess, it's that job again..." Her mother sighed, conveying a weariness that mirrored Kurumi's own frustrations.

"Yes, dear. I know you're disappointed, and I understand you want us around mor—"

Kurumi took a deep breath, her frustration building slowly.

"I don't know, Mom. It's just... I miss you both, and it's hard when you're never here."

Her mother nodded sympathetically, "I know, Kurumi. We'll try to make it up to you when we get back, I promise."

Kurumi took another deep breath and said, "You've promised me tons of times, but those promises never came TRUE!"

She ended the call abruptly, the hologram flickering in silence. Kurumi stood there for a moment, the weight of the news settling in, before continuing with her day. The routine, once comforting, now carried the unexpected weight of loneliness.

As Kurumi ambled away to her designated table, she delicately picked up the plate, lost in contemplation. A wave of reflection washed over her, "Maybe I was too harsh on Mom. I shouldn't have said those words."

In that moment of introspection, Cyberoid materialized beside her, breaking the silence. "This isn't the time for dwelling, Ms. Kurumi. Your school awaits, and you only have 5 minutes left."

Kurumi nodded, acknowledging the practicality of the artificial companion's advice. "Yeah, you're right."

Stepping out into the bustling metropolis, Kurumi entered an elevator, a portal to her educational realm. With a simple command, "Teleport to high school 0789," the surroundings blurred, giving way to the futuristic vista of the city adorned with flying cars, labyrinthine tubes, and radiant lights.

Emerging into the advanced high school, Kurumi found her way to her designated classroom. As she settled into her seat, she observed the educators seamlessly incorporating cutting-edge technology into their lessons.

A muted sigh escaped her lips, "Oh, this is boring." Kurumi's disinterest was palpable, casting a shadow on the highly sophisticated learning environment.

the advanced classroom continued as the teacher's voice cut through the air, "Hey, Kurumi, are you paying attention to class?"

Kurumi responded promptly, "Yes, I am."

The teacher then challenged her with a question, "Then answer this: Who is the first-ever world president, and what did he accomplish?"

With a confident smile, Kurumi replied, "That's easy. It's obviously the first world leader, Altaiman Kruger. He stopped the technology war and then became the leader of all mankind, becoming a symbol of peace."

The teacher acknowledged her correctness, "You're right, good job!"

As time passed, we witnessed Kurumi's life in her technologically advanced school. Despite her academic success, she often found herself alone, both during class and at lunch. The futuristic surroundings and bustling atmosphere masked a subtle sense of isolation that clung to her.

When the day transitioned into night, Kurumi, solitary in her journey, headed back home. The glow of the city's lights cast a soft radiance on her path, accentuating the contrast between the vibrant exterior and the solitude she carried within.

"As Kurumi stepped inside her home, the familiar sight of her big brother Takuya's shoes greeted her.

'Oh, big brother? You're back?''

"Yeah, I heard you got mad at our parents, so I came to check on ya,' Takuya replied, his voice a comforting presence in the room.

Regret flickered across Kurumi's face as she admitted, "It's nothing much. I just miss them a lot... It's not like I hate them."

'Takuya, understanding the unspoken weight of her words, reassured her with a gentle smile,

'It's fine, Kurumi. I get it. By the way, I'm whipping up your favorite dish.

'Curiosity sparked in Kurumi's eyes, 'H-huh? What food? And really, you don't have to go through all the trouble. I can handle it myself.

'Takuya, now with an apron on, responded with a playful grin, 'What's wrong with cooking for my little sister? Besides, I've got a surprise for you.

'Amidst the sizzling sounds from the kitchen, Kurumi couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth.

'But you have a lot of work, don't you?''

True,' Takuya admitted, 'but there's not much crime today, and my team can handle it. I'm taking the day off for you.

'Surprised and joyful, Kurumi's eyes widened, 'Really!?'"

With a bright smile on Kurumi's face, she said, "Let me help you out, brother!"

Kurumi grabbed an apron, and together they dove into the culinary adventure.

As time passed, amidst the clattering of pots and pans, Takuya opened up about their father's job.

"About Dad and Mom, I'm sorry that they rarely hang out with you."

Kurumi, wearing a smile, responded, "No, it's fine. It's their job, and I shouldn't interfere."

Takuya complimented her, saying, "You're a kind girl, Kurumi."

Flustered, she retorted, "N-no, I'm not that kind!"

Takuya shifted the conversation to a more serious tone. "The world might be in danger."

Kurumi, with concern in her eyes, asked, "H-huh? What do you mean?"

Takuya hesitated before revealing, "Well, I don't know much about it, but... you know about your dad's work, right? He's the current world leader"

"Yeah, I already know that, but I haven't told anyone," Kurumi replied.

Takuya divulged, "There's something you don't know about the world leader's role."

With growing concern, Kurumi asked, "W-what is it?"

Takuya took a deep breath and explained, "You think the world leader's job is to protect and examine the world, right?"

Kurumi, taking a deep breath, responded, "Yeah... What are you on about?"

Takuya continued, "While it's true our dad's job is to examine and protect the world, there's more to it."

Kurumi looked at Takuya with a mixture of concern and worry.

Takuya continued, "The world leader gets every piece of information about the world, every single thing, whether it's small or not."

Confused, Kurumi exclaimed, "H-huh?!"

Takuya elaborated, "Our dad could probably be spying on us right now."

Kurumi, shocked, whispered, "Then shouldn't you shut up about this information? Isn't this top secret!?" She looked worried.

Confidently, Takuya reassured her, "It's fine. Dad's the one who told me to say this to you."

Kurumi finally calmed down. "So what's the problem?"

Takuya, with a hint of worry, responded, "So our dad has found cracks in the sky."

Kurumi, confused, asked, "H-huh, what do you mean?!"

Takuya explained, "I don't know many details, but random cracks are appearing, as if something is coming here."

Suddenly, Kurumi got a memory flash of a white, horrid room with bright lines.

Takuya continued, "Father believes that a large war between something will start, and humanity might end soon."

Some random images flashes on kurumi mind

Kurumi's eyes flutter open as she's greeted by a bright white room, confusion etched across her face. "What's going on!?"

A strange growl echoes behind her, prompting Kurumi to instinctively start running. Amid her frantic escape, an enigmatic voice questions, "What is beyond the universe?" The words reverberate, and another voice joins the chorus, repeatedly asking, "Do you remember your purpose?"

As Kurumi continues her desperate flight, a sudden new voice interjects, declaring, "The creations are mine.." The growl intensifies, and a mysterious black block falls in her path. The cacophony reaches its peak as she collapses.

Back in the real world, Takuya looks on with deep concern, urgently asking, "WHAT HAPPENED!? ARE YOU OKAY?" A mysterious figure lingers in Kurumi's mind, rendering her blank.

The scene shifts to a hospital, where Kurumi regains consciousness. Her mother and brother stand beside her, tears streaming down their faces. "You finally woke up!!" they exclaim.

"How long was I asleep?" Kurumi inquires, and her mother replies with a heavy heart,

"You've been asleep for a week, my dear." Replied the mother tears pouring out

Kurumi asks, "What happened? To me?" and Takuya replies worried

"I don't know; you just screamed and fell unconscious."

Kurumi remembers everything again about the dream and looks frightened, asking herself,

"What was that dream?..No... was that even a dream?"
