Chapter 8 - You Are All Kids

Aaron got busy reading a new physics book he bought before they boarded, and then he checked some physics videos on the internet to buy time.

Lara leaned closer to him. "Are you okay?" She signaled at the oxygen box.

"I am breathing money; how can I not be okay?" He scoffed, then she moved her gaze to his book.

"Is it your dream to become a scientist?" she asked curiously.

"No,"

"The mixture you made that makes people want to use the restroom. What was that?" She was too curious and needed to feed her curiosity, and since Aaron had a lot of free time, he decided to explain.

"There are a lot of chemicals, a lot of gases, and a lot of mixtures in the world, so that stuff I made contained something that rushes the gas into your stomach and makes you believe you urgently need the toilet."

"I don't understand."

Aaron sighed. He had tried explaining it most thoroughly, but she didn't get it. So he ignored her and continued reading his book. Lara turned to Tyler.

"Do you know anything about chemistry or physics?"

"No, the only thing I love to study is computers. And you see that watch, I am going to discover the technology behind it and create a better version, then I will be the greatest of my type," Tyler said as his tone was filled with determination.

Lara leaned back. They all had something they loved. What was it that she loved? What could she do without getting tired? "What was my passion?"

After a long time, they walked down the ship, and Aaron took off the oxygen mask and gripped his bag. "I will be right back," he excused himself and left.

"Where do you think he is going?" Tyler questioned.

"Probably to get new books," Lara sighed before they sat on a bench when a man walked to them.

"Excuse me, I am looking for something valuable. Have you guys seen it?" The man questioned them; they looked up, and the man's smile frightened them. He was muscular and had a long scar on his face.

"What are you looking for?" Lara asked, and the man sat next to them.

"It's very valuable," he stated before he pushed the oxygen box with his leg, and a different muscular man grabbed it. Then he slightly lifted his top, and there was a gun there.

"You both should come along quietly; we have some affairs to handle," the man said, and their eyes widened in shock. Lara looked at Tyler, who tried to be calm.

"Don't waste my time; get moving," the man next to them scolded as he slightly pressed a knife into Tyler's stomach.

Tyler and Lara stood up and looked around, but no one noticed that these men were trying to abduct them; they also couldn't spot Aaron.

So they followed those men and got inside their car, and they tied their hands before they drove away.

"Why are you taking us? What have we done?" Lara scolded, and the driver took out a cap and put it on; the cap had a name engraved on it. The name made Tyler shiver in fear; he probably couldn't breathe.

"F and F?" it was the organization.

"Who are F and F?" Lara was confused; she knew they were in danger but didn't know the length.

"Remember the organization?"

Then Lara clenched her fist. They had told her about the organization that hired them and also the billionaire.

The ride was silent until they arrived at a two-story building on the outskirts of the city. Tyler and Lara walked down and were accompanied by the two men.

The place was classic and decorated like a finance company. "Sir," one man called, and an older man turned and faced them.

Seeing Tyler and Lara made him smile, and then his smile froze. "You are Tyler Willow; where is Aaron?" he questioned.

"How do you know me?" Tyler was confused because he had never seen this man.

"There is a bounty on your head, $50,000," the man answered, and Tyler couldn't believe his words.

"That's a lie; we got into a legal boat, and the cops didn't try catching him." Lara sneered.

"That's because the bounty was for the mafia; any gangster, big or small, who succeeds in finding you or Aaron has $50,000."

"Am I that worth it?" Tyler chuckled, and the man took out his gun.

"Where is Aaron? You might not know me, but I am Lincoln. The leader of F and F in Mexico, do you know the funny thing about this organization? We are everywhere; you can't escape."

"Who is Aaron?" Tyler asked; this made Lincoln angry, and he signaled one of these men, who kicked Tyler angrily.

"Where is Aaron?" he asked again, and Tyler smiled.

"That's the thing; I don't know who Aaron is."

Lara was so scared; she didn't know what their fate would be. The man kicked Tyler several times, and he spat blood.

"Please stop…" Lara hurried towards Tyler and clinched him.

"Dispose of the lady; we don't need her," Lincoln ordered.

"What…what do you mean by dispose?" Lara stuttered, and a man grabbed her. They were going to kill her.

"Leave her alone; she has nothing to do with this," Tyler yelled angrily, but they didn't take orders from him.

"You need me; Tyler will never tell you Aaron's whereabouts because he is too loyal. But I can, I can tell you, and Aaron is the one with the watch," she blurted, and this made Tyler angry.

"Shut up, Lara."

"No, you shut up already!!" Lincoln kicked Tyler angrily before he turned to Lara.

"You are all kids; shouldn't you be in school or at prom? Why do you all wish for death?" he spouted.

"If you tell me where Aaron is, then I will spare you."

"And him?" she asked while pointing at Tyler, and he shook his head in denial.

"His fate has not yet been decided."
