Kokugen thought to himself, "First, I should repair the castle and gather some forces." He asked Diablo if there was any spell to repair the castle or some other related spell that could help. Diablo said, "Once the new king sits on the throne, the castle will repair itself automatically."
With newfound strength and magic, Kokugen Kuroi reconstructed the decaying castle, appointing Diablo, a formidable arc demon, as his right hand. Seeking deeper insights into the world's dynamics, Kokugen turned to Diablo, who painted a vivid picture of the realm's inhabitants: Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Orcs, Centaurs, Ogres, Dragonewts, Giants, Humans, and more, each holding a unique place in the complex web of existence. Kuroi asked Diablo, "I would like to visit the nearby areas to determine the next course of action."
To better grasp this world's gradations, Kokugen embarked into the wilds with Diablo. In the forest's heart that was near the castle, they stumbled upon a disturbing scene: a human hunter threatening a vulnerable small goblin girl. Kokugen confronted the hunter. The air crackled with tension as words of disapproval flew between Kokugen and the hunter.
"You think you're a god among these creatures?" the hunter sneered, radiating arrogance.
Unfazed, Kokugen's voice sliced through the tension. "You have no clue what lies beyond your understanding."
The Goblin girl cowered behind a tree, her voice quivering yet resolute. "You don't belong here! Leave us alone!"
The hunter scoffed, raising his weapon. "These woods are mine to hunt. No pathetic creature will defy me."
Kuroi thought to himself, "It was none of my business anyway, but if I back off here I will never fulfill the promise I made. I will stand up for my wishes this time. I will become strong no matter what." With a defiant stance, Kuroi interposed himself between the tiny, trembling goblin girl and the looming figure of the human hunter. The man's eyes blazed with an intent that foretold harm, but Kuroi's resolve remained unyielding. Driven by an innate sense of justice, he leaped into action, shielding the goblin from the hunter's wrath.
As emotions reached a crescendo, Diablo stepped forward, an ominous aura surrounding him. "Should I rid us of this insolent human?" His voice dripped with malice.
The hunter suddenly turned pale and his weapon dropped from his hand when he felt the bloodlust of the demon standing behind him. He never noticed that Diablo was there. He shouted "A demon!!!! I thought they were all destroyed by the church."
Meeting Diablo's gaze, Kokugen subtly signaled to hold back. "No, let him leave. His terror will be a testament to the power hidden within these woods."
As the hunter retreated, the forest resonated with whispers of unhappiness among the gathered army. Goblin archers aimed their bows, glider lizards perched on high branches, a group of phantom wolves prowled silently, and majestic centaurs stood tall and sturdy, their presence a testament to strength and unity. One of the centaurs asked, "Why did you let him leave? He might bring other companions next time to hunt us down. Humans are nothing but scum and parasites to this planet."
Kokugen thought for some time and then replied, "Let him do that and I will show them what hell may look like." He then thought to himself, "Thank goodness, Diablo is with me or else I would have died"
The goblin girl stood between the creatures and Kokugen, "He saved us right now. I trust him. "
Moved by the goblin girl's courage, Kokugen turned to her. "You are brave. What's your name?"
"Rylia, sir," she replied, her eyes filled with gratitude and fear.
"Rylia, gather all of them and follow Diablo to the castle grounds. You'll be safe there."
As the group followed Diablo and entered the castle. Diablo gathered all of them on the training ground of the castle.
Kokugen ascended the grand altar, his profile casting a majestic shadow that commanded the attention of the assembled battalion. His voice, a formidable upsurge, echoed through the ancient forest as he declared, "I stand before you not merely as a ruler but as the architect of our ascent to greatness! Anything or anyone that dares to challenge our path will be crushed beneath the weight of my unconquerable might."
With a sweeping gaze, he acknowledged the diverse assembly. "To those who remained committed to the throne and those who, despite adversity, clung to their region and tribe, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your trust and faith in this vision shall be rewarded by shelter and protection under my rule." A surge of anticipation swept through the creatures gathered there, igniting thunderous applause that resonated through the ancient trees — a symphony of unity and the promise of imminent power.
