"What was what?" The system asked pretentiously like it had no idea what had just happened.
Alix groaned and closed the virtual screen. It was the wrong timing to get into the matter deeply or demand for an explanation from the system. Mantis was about to break the down the door or become a very small ant and find her way inside.
She put the laptop inside her bag and then went ahead to open the door, narrowly missing Mantis's foot landing on her face.
She dodged it and caught it with both of her hands, and gazed curiously at the woman.
"Violence against doors Mantis, maybe you should work on your temper more than me.I know a good therapist."
Mantis pulled her leg back and then stumbled twice before deciding to use Alix's shoulder for support.
"Did you succeed in your mission?" she asked.
Alix tilted her head and narrowed her eyes. "Mission, what mission?"
