On the virtual screen, the blue elf brought up a picture of the magpie. It had been captured by one of the security cameras at the school during the time when Alix was playing her violin in the midst of the musical orchids.
It had been perched on top of one of the parasols, watching her keenly.
"It's not normal for a bird to be focused on just one thing for so long." It said.
Alix completely agreed with that and besides, now that she recalled with clarity, she had seen the bird as well. It was just for a second but she remembered spotting it on the roof of Yanfang's apartment.
Her mind had been occupied at the time and she didn't give it much thought when she was flying away.
"It has got to be them, the ones watching Lai Yanfang." It suggested. "I need to scan it up close and figure out if it's a drone, something from the game or a host with a shape shifting system."
