Auntie Mo guided Alix to the closest chair in the living room, sent for a first aid kit and then set on a keen task of examining the so called injured toe. No matter which angle she examined however, there was no trace of an injury.
"I don't see anything Alix, are you sure that you stubbed your toe?"
Alix maintained her sad face and she nodded.
"It hurt a lot mommy, my whole body felt as if it was being electrocuted in that moment. The pain is gone because you have touched it. My sweet mama, you have healing hands."
Auntie Mo's face brightened up so much, If she could glow, she would be as bright as a thousand stars in the sky.
Bashfully, she responded, "Tch, your sweet mouth strikes again."
She grabbed Alix's face and Alix puckered her lips, shaking her head as she smiled with an impish and childish look on her face.
