When she finally got herself together, all she wanted to do was leave the death trap of the hospital in which she had almost been buried.
Blindly, without a care for which direction she was heading as long as it got her out of there the quickest, Alix walked quickly.
She was so absentminded that she walked right past the elevator and just kept going.
Bi Cang put a hand on her shoulder, and startled her. First she froze for three seconds before turning around to face him with a quizzical eyes.
"Young madam, we have to go to the next floor above this one." he told her.
"Why?"
He looked around and replied slowly, "Something has happened in the family."
Her immediate assumption was that something had happened to her husband.
As if Bi Cang could read her mind, he shook his head.
"It's not the young master."
