Chapter 333 - One vs a hundred

There was no penalty for killing innocent NPC's in the game. Of course, you wouldn't get any points for killing one either so it was a waste to kill them. 

Still, Alix didn't hesitate in her actions in-game. One of the soldiers was holding his hand out, asking for coins and identification in order for her to go through.

"I have none." she answered. 

The soldier sneered and so did she. He lifted a hand to slap her and she moved even faster. With lightning speed, she sliced off his arm. 

Blood, so warm and real fell on her face as the soldier stumbled around, crying out for help. 

In his office, Caishen heard what sounded like the cry of a cat but also the howl of a wolf. He was not the only only one to hear it because even the others in the meeting did. Their eyes looked in the direction of the closed office door curiously. 

"Ahem," Caishen cleared his throat.
