Alix stood up immediately and smiled. A red envelope from the elder; of course she wanted it. Even if it wasn't money it had to be a good thing.
She received her envelope just like everyone else and she bowed. Her itchy hands were eager to unseal it and spill the contents but she noticed that nobody had touched theirs so she waited patiently.
