"Come and ice your hand." he told her when they got home and started preparing for bed.
Alix looked at her hand. It was perfectly fine, no bruising or swelling.
"It's fine." she said.
"Just come over and do as I tell you. You have injured fingers which are still healing and yet you dare to punch people and lift tires. I am beginning to doubt if you know what's good for you."
He was holding a bowl of ice water in his arms and waiting for her impatiently by the table.
"I am telling you that it's not injured." she insisted as she walked over slowly. "Haven't you seen my new nickname, I am little superwoman. How can Wei Tao's jaw be harder than a tire? It was like punching cotton candy..."
She squealed because she was roughly pulled down while she was still talking.
She fell and found herself sitting on his laps.
