Alix's eyes widened and she shuddered. It was hard for her to imagine herself sleeping besides a cold corpse all night long. That probably would have been too much for her brain to handle.
"Oh jeez! what did you do?"
Mantis mixed herself another cup of tea and on she went with her sorrowful tale. "I was young, my father was not in the city and i was scared out of my mind, and in tears, so i did what all children do; i called my mother for help. She answered the call and i told her what had happened." She chuckled at the terrible memories.
"She said to me, i am not your mother anymore and don't call this number ever again. Our relationship ended the day i left that house, for you and your father, i am dead."
"What!" Alix exclaimed. "What kind of crazy fruit says that to a scared ten year old? Wow, this is so infuriating, woooooow. What did you do?"
