The nom nom sounds were too distracting and too loud. Also, they were a little annoying.
"We are not going to eat their systems." On second thought she added, "Not unless they attack us first."
Maggie and Mantis turned back to Alix and looked at her with smiles on their faces.
"So, will you admit to having a system or not?"
Alix folded her arms and leaned back in the chair., maintaining the neutral look on her face. She was excited to learn about other system users and she definitely wanted to know about this history of systems. Also, she was curious about what watchers were. But, she still had to maintain the first rule of the system, keeping it a secret.
