Somewhere deep inside the large compound which was the headquarters of the ministry of water resources, in a lab that only a few people were aware of, a close study of the objects purchased from Alix's mall was underway.
The cats were in a large well organized room which had been designed to look like the pet shop in Alix's mall. They even got to keep the little hats on and someone had bought more from the pet shop.
There had been some puppies in the shop and they were in a separate room opposite that one. Both rooms had transparent glass walls allowing the observers to keep an eye on the pets all the time. In addition to that, security cameras were installed above and a team watched the animals twenty four hours a day.
At the moment, resident veterinary doctors were checking on the cats and drawing some blood.
