In bed alone with two cats, Alix got the opportunity to game as much she wanted but she didn't plan to spend much time at it.
She had already logged into the virtual world and she was hiding behind some thickets opposite a long road leading into a heavily populated city on the island. With a weapon in hand, she stayed by the side of the road which had dirt and watched as she dug the ground with a single hand.
Despite leading to the only city on the island, the road was rather deserted which was a good thing for her plan. It was silent out there, with the only sound coming from space ships that flew by occasionally. She had seen many birds in the forest but out here, there were hardly any.
Alix controlled her breath and ignored the bothersome trail of sweat running down her neck. One thing she didn't enjoy about this third world was the heat. Day or night, it was hot on this world.
