He didn't know why she was hugging him but he didn't push her away. Rather, he pulled her deeper into his arms as he patted her back lightly.
His immediate assumption was that she was happy to meet the psychologist. In his mind, Caishen congratulated himself on a job well done.
He was still congratulating himself when he heard her say something.
"You are such a dummy...a fool."
His hand went still and she retracted herself from his embrace. Looking into his lost eyes, she raised a hand and pinched his cheek softly.
"Hey, do you know how much you scared me for a minute there? You don't tell somebody that you need to talk with such a serious face and in such a grave voice unless its bad news. One cant help imagining the worst possible scenarios otherwise."
