*It has been four years since the discussion with Josh; we decided to apply what he said to our daily lives. I am in my dream university, almost done with my undergraduate program. * Jessica thought
*Like he said, it doesn't work for both worlds. There have been so many ups and downs in our lives; we aren't bothered; we have taken into consideration that something like that is bound to happen. * She thought
Jessica is pursuing her dream of being a model and the CEO of her company, while Josh is a scientist.
"What do I expect from that guy; he is pretty capable," Jessica sighed.
*That was how our story ended; surprisingly, we are still best friends, but, sadly, I never got a boyfriend; I am still trying to find a compatible person. *
"You like writing in a third person point," Josh said, his hands on my shoulder.
"I' am done writing it," I said.
"Jessica, why do you use our government name" Josh asked, snatching the book.
"Rude," I stared at him with annoyance.
"It's for my children to read," I said, snatching the book back.
"Josh, I think it's time for us to search for future partners," I said, placing the book in my bag.
"Didn't we fight this the last time," Josh sighed, patting my head.
"Stop," I said.
"Sorry, it's a habit," Josh apologized.
And that our voice faded into the background marking the end, mind you, the end is just the beginning. I guess this is the beginning for our future selves.
