Raven's disdain for Marcella was unmistakable.

"Raven, your medicine is waiting in your room! Please remember to take it!" Marcella called out, her voice filled with concern.
"Yeah, whatever!" Raven replied dismissively from afar.
Marcella turned her gaze back to Gavin with a weary smile. "He must be quite a handful at school."
"Oh, not at all, Ma'am," Gavin replied calmly, though his thoughts betrayed a different story. "I should get going, it's getting late." He decided to leave, eager to escape the imposing mansion of Marcella and Raven.
"Take care, and send my regards to Alaric and Aiden. You all should come by sometime!" Marcella's smile remained warm and inviting.
