"What are these creatures?" Alad asked, looking at Xavier with curiosity.
"The bracelet didn't state it, which is surprising. Actually, I guess these are the creatures protecting the entrance, meaning we're close," Creamy said, her voice excited.
"I don't think so," Xavier replied, his voice stern.
"Why do you think so?" Alad asked, looking at Xavier with concern.
"Actually, I just have a feeling. I don't know for sure, but we should move on," Xavier said, starting to walk again.
"Okay," Alad and Creamy agreed, following him.
The group continued down the path, the fog beginning to thin slightly. Xavier remained on high alert, his senses tuned to any movement or sound. The encounter with the Crystal Beast had left him uneasy. He couldn't shake the feeling that something else was lurking in the shadows.
