Amana met Lily's gaze and took a deep breath. "The first rule from the voice was not to say anything to anyone," she replied, removing Lily's hand from her shoulder. "And I'm abiding by that. I've already said too much, so let's focus on the mission. As for my curse, it hasn't reacted, so maybe…"
Before she could finish, a white, long crystal claw slashed at Amana. She dodged swiftly, thinking, 'Turning into a beast like this one will drain my energy, which is still recovering.'
Immediately, a black spear appeared in her hand. She hit it twice on the ground, and it elongated. It was the same spear she had used to threaten Lily when Lily had tried to stop her from healing Xavier.
"Be careful, Amana!" Lily shouted as she landed a powerful blow on the beast, forcing it to step back.
