I've died once again. I don't think I will ever get used to dying.
My head feels a bit light. Oh right, I just woke up in my room.
It's a weird feeling, I know what I just experienced is real, but I felt like I just had a nightmare. I woke up completely fine, just a bit drowsy from waking up. The pain I experienced is gone, not even a phantom pain is present.
.... But I don't think my mental will be fine if this goes on. It's my 3rd run and I already had enough.
"..... I don't want to die"
"Kaiden!"
"H- huh?!"
"Wake up already, you're going to college right?!"
"I'm getting ready alright!"
Right... I should get ready. No matter what, this will go on until I use up my Special Skill and die or survive... Somehow.

I levelled up twice, that's good progress. My aspect went up by 6 both times.
I have some theory on why it happened.
1) I have some sort of privilege that comes with my Special Skill.
2) The fight was too intense it's double the experience gained.
3) I'm too weak and the system makes it easier for me to level up.
Might be none of this, I didn't know how the system works or the logic behind it.
Ryan also fought a few monsters before we met, but Hana said he only went up by 3. Unless he or she is lying. I saw his status though so I guess not.
Maybe his fight wasn't as intense as mine?
I need to run a few experiments. But first, I need to survive the 1st day, since the first day is the "Skinning Process" mentioned by the system, perhaps the number of dungeons that appear skyrocketed. I need to figure out what happened after that.
.... Speaking of the Skinning Process, I just figured something out, something uncomfortable.
I started checking the internet. There are already a few monster attacks being recorded and uploaded. They're mostly low-level monsters such as goblins, slime, crazed-looking wolves and skeleton soldiers.
As I thought, the mobs get stronger throughout the day. Looking back, it started with the goblin, then the monkey monster, then the goblin warrior and at the end of the day, a Minotaur.
That means it's almost impossible for weak people like me to survive the day, hence the "skinning process".
What should I do? Hmm...
An idea just appeared in my mind, a crazy one.

After I arrived at my college, I went straight to the restroom, waiting for the 2 talking dude to walk in. They're the ones that will notify me when the raid starts.
Anyhow, I need to test this Skill first.
[ Future Sight ]
[ You see a glimpse into the future. How far you could see is depending on your Intelligence ]
Using the timer on my phone, I activated both the skill and timer at the same time, this helped determine how far I could see.
Here goes.
[ «Future Sight» ]
My vision suddenly doubled, confusing me for a second, and then I caught the number on the timer and skipped to 3..4..5... Then my vision became normal again.
So it skipped 3 seconds and I see the future for 2 seconds.
That doesn't sound useful. I wanted to use it for avoiding traps or figuring out an ambush early since Danger Sense only reacted when it happened. It will be much better to not get myself in a dangerous situation in the first place.
But since it's barely usable, I won't use it, for now.
The two dudes talking finally entered the restroom, signalling that the raid was about to start.
I stand up and stretch for a bit, take a cleaver out of my inventory, not a proper weapon but I will just steal from the corpse of the goblin.
I plan to keep killing them and keep buying elixir. I won't be able to fend them off in an open space, so I will use the lecture hall on the top floor again.
Normal goblin shouldn't be a problem for me, but the hobs are going to be a bit challenging, if I increase my speed, he too won't be a problem.
There's also a chance that goblins aren't the only enemy here, but that's fine, if there is a different enemy, then it will be as weak as goblins.

It's starting.

A scream echoes through the hall, and chaos ensues.
As planned, I went to the top floor entered the same lecture hall, and piled up some chairs here and there to prevent getting flooded by goblins.
Not long after I started, Russell's team entered.
"Lock it quick!"
"I'm trying! Give me your belt!"
Won't work, but whatever.
"Hey, all of you"
"Wha- what are you doing here?"
Seeing the piles of chairs around, they make confused faces and Terry adds a few silly remarks, like he usually does.
"Give me a hand with this"
"Ok, but what's this for again?" Russell asked.
"I'm going to kill the goblins and this will help, so if you want to live, help me"
"Ermm... Can you do that?" Rebecca said.
"If you don't get in my way, yes"
It would be troublesome if they threw some random spell around. Guess I shouldn't teach them about the system yet.
"Did you know what's happening?"
"Ask questions later please"
Not teaching or informing them about the event, they continue to do my strange order.
*Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!*
Here comes.
"What was that-"
"Get to the back of the lecture hall now!"
They did what I said and goblins started pouring in.
The hob was the first to enter, but I knew I could handle him.
[ «Flicker» ]
I pulled out a kitchen knife and with the momentum gained from "Flicker" and weight from "Pierce", I managed to stab the hob in the neck, ignoring its thick muscle.
[ You received 10 gold coins for slaying a hobgoblin ]
It quickly fell and a small goblins rushed me with rage. A pointless rage I must say, since I killed them the moment they entered my range, killing 2 goblins.
I have learned not to hold back my attack, and it's made me more confident when fighting.
As expected, they weren't much of a problem. I was able to kill them swiftly with my meat cleaver.
3 more goblins rushed me, 2 with spears, and 1 with a broken blade.
Using Flicker, I went for the one with a broken blade, as he was the farthest. He wasn't able to react and had his neck sliced.
A sound that indicates the cleaver is now dull could be heard. I took the broken blade and killed the spear goblins as they rushed me with no strategy.
As I was picking up momentum, one by one the goblins died by my hand. Either by getting their neck slit or getting a new hole in their head.
Even the hob is killed as quickly using one of the spears laying around the floor full of blood and corpses.
Soon, the wave of goblins stopped. Leaving only my breathing echoing in the entire room.

[ You received 10 gold coins for slaying a hobgoblin ]
That's the first wave, there's going to be more.
I drank an elixir and looked at the terrified audience at the back.
Ah, I must looked scary right now. If I saw myself in a mirror I might also jump like a cat would when they saw a cucumber.
On the bright side, however.

Again, I went up by 6 twice. The theory about the intensity is the one that determines how much point you get becomes more believable. Whatever, I need to get them so safety first.
I took one of the spears on the floor and told them to follow me.
I haven't forgotten about the shaman, and we met it near the elevator. He was standing there as if he was guarding the elevator, tho he might just happen to be standing there.
"Hi there, you wait long?"
It quickly pointed its staff towards me, but I responded as quickly using Flicker and stabbed it in the neck. He too, was caught off guard by my speed as he was confident with the distance he had.
[ You received 10 gold coins for slaying a goblin shaman ]
I should resupply my elixir, I already used 2 during and at the end of the fight.
[ You have purchased 3 Elixir ]
... The shaman staff looks kinda good. It's made of wood with a little crystal about the size of a marble on the top.
I put it inside my inventory, maybe it is worth something, or at least I could prevent another shaman from being born, who knows right?
When we entered the elevator, Rebecca suddenly questioned me.
"Who are you?"
Hmm, what should I say? I come from the future to save all of you from the goblin's rampage!
As if.
"You don't need to know, what you should know is, there's going to be more down there, so prepare yourself"
She looked at me with an unsatisfied expression, trying to ask another question but Terry stopped her.
So they ARE close before this. Not like I care.
The door opens and reveals the gore and blood the goblin left behind. I'm still high from the battle earlier, so I don't care.
Though, they muttered a few words like "oh god" and a slight gag. Looks like I'm too sensitive right now I could hear them without paying attention to it.
Nearing the building exit, there happened to be more goblins than I expected. Seems like some goblin escaped me and informed their squad.
5 goblins with a spear at the front, another 3 behind them using a bow, and charging towards us are 4 goblins with a club.
My team scattered, taking cover wherever they could, and I handled the charging goblins.
Like I said, not a big deal. I stab them in the neck again with my short spear, taking the goblins by surprise.
After killing all 4 of them, arrows started raining towards me. I was hinted by Danger Sense to get on the floor and managed to avoid them without issue.
Seeing me laying down, the spear goblins rush in, thinking I'm in a terrible position. What a silly idea.
[ «Sprint» Activated ] [ «Flicker» ]
With blinding speed, I avoided them from the right and went for the bow goblins. They're getting disoriented from my speed and unable to shoot properly, missing every single shot.
Dispatching them swiftly, I took the knife on their hips and went for the rest, but when I turned my head, there was no goblin. Only Russell's team is there, standing while scratching their head.
"Where are they? The goblins?"
"They ran away after you were finished with those" Terry said with confusion.
Hah, they realised I'm not to be fucked with. Good, good.
"Let's go, there will be more coming"
"There's more?!" Terry suddenly raised his voice.
"See?"
I point towards the campus gate and even more goblins guarding it. 8 of them are equipped with a spear at the front. There are also 2 hobs in the middle and a shaman at the very back. They want us dead dead huh.
"Y- you can handle those right?" Kathy said while still trembling.
".... Just be prepared to run away"
After I said that, all of them started to get concerned. To be honest, I am too.
That unit is pretty balanced. If I'm not careful, this will be my end.
*HOOOOORN*
If those people haven't arrived that is.
