Sleep had a hold on me, and while I knew that I was asleep, some of my senses were working and were affecting parts of my dreams. It had been a while since I've dreamed so vividly, and these dreams were more like flashes of memories that seemed sweet and warm.
For a while there was a strong scent of leather that filled my mind and I remember dreaming about taking a long drive down a highway that had mountains on one side and the ocean along the other.
I knew it was a dream because I was not sick from being in the car. I had been looking out the windows of the car at the images that we passed as we drove, and while I knew someone had been in the car driving me, I couldn't recall their face.
That dream lasted a for a while, but then I slipped into one that was a little darker, but not scary. The next one was more of an old memory in a way. I recalled one of the nights that I had been in the pack clinic.
