Sitting back on my bed in the clinic felt surreal. Lecia had been gone when Eren and I got back and I sent her a text asking if she was coming back. She responded quickly saying that she would see me in the morning with a winking wolf emoji.
Casey had come in to do a check on me and escort me over to the showers so that I could "be more comfortable for bed." The wink she gave me when Eren's back was to me made me giggle, but also made me a little nervous.
Eren had leaned over and kissed my cheek softly before whispering to me that he would be back later. I couldn't stop the heat that filled my cheeks at the thought of him and I being alone tonight. Plus the little zap I felt as his lips touched my skin didn't help either.
