Merry: You can go to the Governor Guild and ask for permits for a shop. Now this is technically a shop you would have to give 10% of the profits to the governor if you want the permit. It is just for the first 12 months and than it is tax fees you would have to deal with. Or you can pay up front 5 gold coins for a shop permit. After that you just have to pay for taxes.
It seems like people normally pay the 10% of profits because if the business doesn't become known it will fail for the first year and the expenses will catch up. It is cheaper than if you pay a permit for 5 gold and also the shops expenses as well. When you choose option 1. It does seem more expensive but you are making money. So in reality you are going up. But if you lose money the amount you paid is pretty low compared to option 2.
Kitaro: Can I see numbers and examples?
Merry:
Option 1: You put in 10 silver for your down payment permit plus 10% of your profits up to 12 months can be canceled at anytime. Profits of 40 silver a month. So you just turn in 4 silver to them. And plus taxes which is 3.5% of total money earned. You earned 70 silver a month so you pay additional 3.5 silver for taxes and plus 4 silver to 7.5 × 12 = 90 silver in 1 year.
Example 2: You your business is doing great getting 100 gold a month 10% of that plus 3.5% for tax every month. Thats 13 gold coins per month. Per year will be 13 x 12 = 156 gold per year. That's a lot of gold if you are making money.
Option 2: pay 5 gold and than pay a tax of 3.5% every month.
Yeah this seems simple but there is a chance you could lose more if you failed unless you know you are successful.
There is a back up plan for option one if you fail your business you can cancel your business and not pay the rest of the year.
For option 2 you wont be able to do anything except keep on losing. Also option 2 are for veteran merchants.
There is a third option but its a day permit. It allows the person to sell items for the day. But 30% of the total money flow is given to the governor. It is just temporary so people just only use it for quick trades of high value items because they know the governor will support trades of high value with a day permit.
Kitaro: It is manageable. I'll go for option 2 and we can start off strong. But first I need to get money. Actually cant I get lot's of day permits until I get a permit.

He said that he was walking in a mysterious forest and it was a dreamland. It was like everything and anything can appear and dissappear over there. I was curious and I got in contact with him. HE SAID, " IF YOU GO INTO THE FOREST AT 5:55 pm RIGHT DURING THE MOMENT LOTS OF DANGEROUS MONSTERS APPEARING YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SEE A HIDDEN FOREST AT THE LOCATIONS OF A OLD TREE THE TALLEST TREE CALLED THE WILLIOW RED TREE, AND WHEN YOU GO NEAR HERE AT 5:55 PM YOU WILL SEE A PORTAL APPEAR AND IT WILL SPAWN MONSTERS RANDOMLY IN THE FOREST. "

Kitaro: You will get a 1% of profits but you will also get commissions pay. For every client that joins you will get 5 bronze coins. You are just going to make sure they fill in paper work and giving them the stuff accordingly. If someone tries to attack you call us for help.

Kitaro: blindness comes from 3 different things. 1 is from a foggy like substance covering the lens of your eyes. 2 is that your light sensors is not working so healing the damaged sensors will allow you to see. 3 is the color bands that takes in light is damage so healing them will help you see. This isn't always the case but you had number 2 because your eyes were damaged by some type of bright light.

[ They go to the Willow Red Tree and wait to see anything that happens at 5:55 if it is dangerous, leave if not take pictures and make sure they gather information about the hidden forest. There has been 20 people missing in that forest for the past 2 years. So if they are dead we will at least bring their bodies back home. If they are alive we will save them. If there are monsters Kitaro will try to tame them. ]
