Chapter 3 - Understanding the situation better and comprehending what to do next!
After thinking of the ordeals she went through in her previous universe, she hoped that this world would be totally different. And she could slightly feel that way because immediately she awakened, she was surrounded by people who seemed to love and genuinely care for her.
Huuuuu!
Releasing a deep breath, she stood to her feet to look at a large, clear mirror hung on a wall in the room that she was medically tended to using magical means. She wanted to see if she looked ravishingly beautiful, or was only averagely attractive.
Upon seeing her appearance in the mirror, she produced a delighted smile on her face. It was like the universe, though she couldn't tell yet if it hated her, still gave her something to he proud of.
Standing at over six feet—6'1" to be precise, she had bright, bouncy, and long vibrant violet hair that poured down like a scenic waterfall far beyond her back. She had intense green eyes that shone with clarity, will, and seemingly unbreakable, unwavering, and unyielding determination.
At the center of her forehead was a tiny, round natural spot that would seem enigmatic to the eyes of onlookers. And this was because the spot which looked like a mark, glittered iridescently in the endless rays of the sun. Anyone that gazed at it for a while, might probably Invoke illusions upon themselves.
She had a beautiful, flawless, and healthy-looking pale-white skin, long slender legs that gracefully added to her tall height, and eye-catching, symmetrical oval face that truly added to her deeply appealing facial beauty.
She was simply a great, utterly fascinating, and extremely notable attractive damsel that would absolutely have no peer when it came to radiant, natural looks. One could easily take her for a superlative-rank, heaven-tier, tall supermodel that would rival enchanting goddesses and actual alluring embodiments of beauty in gorgeousness and attractiveness.
Staring at herself in the mirror and smiling, she looked at her friend Zena, who gave an obvious enviable smile and said in a playful tone, "Feeling yourself, right? I will tell you again, the day I get a boyfriend and he sees you and unexpectedly falls for you, I am going to kill you in the wickedest manner possible."
Theraessa, who didn't know whether to laugh or to smile, simply cackled and said, "I am not going to steal your boyfriend. He won't even notice me. I will appear so ordinary to him. Don't worry."
"Better." Zena said and laughed.
"My dear friend, to be honest with you, it's like that poison affected most parts of my memory. I can't remember a lot of things."
"Will you believe that I actually forgot your name, and so many things about you? Incredible, right? Forgive me for my memory loss and please remind me of your name again, and help me recall many things going on this place that I truly have forgotten. And yea, help me recall who or what I am, I don't remember anything about myself. I feel so sad and ashamed of myself." Theraessa said unexpectedly, while Zena developed a certain look on her face.
"I think I get it now. No wonder you were acting so strange earlier." Zena said with a look of comprehension etched on her facial features.
She then continued, "Starting with you first, Hally, you come from a town that your parent presided over as town ruler. But on a particular night, they died in a mysterious way, making you an orphan. But this didn't make you weak, instead, it made many times more stronger. However, your background is way more deeper than that, as it was rumored sometimes ago that you probably had the blood of one of the most strongest, solitary summoner in the world coursing through you."
"This came up because a particular time during magical training at the Field of Zhorryndales, Nashlynn, your biggest and wildest, glory, honor, and fame-lusting archrival, tried to attack you using a powerful arcane artifact, but you blocked the attack by inadvertently unleashing a crimson and violet-spotted, obsidian-black fire, which is claimed to be the strongest, ultimately destructive flame in the entire world."
"You blocked the potent annihilating attack with the flame that you unknowingly unleashed, perhaps out of intense alarm and terror which immediately ate away at the dark-energy magical offense discharged by the item wielded by Nashlynn. She was severely punished for her unbridled action, and then disgracefully expelled to serve as total deterrent to many others who will attempt to commit such dastardly act towards any other person in the institution."
"But ever since then, you were looked with all kinds of gazes, even by instructors who couldn't fathom how your unique, naturally cyan-colored fire changed into that kind of raging, incomparably vicious flame."
"You were passionately hated before, in the past because of your many fascinating abilities which included enigmatic darkness summoning, fiendbeast evocation, thirty-eight and more, radiant wing-pairs manifestation, and so on."
"You always clinch first place in every yearly competition that we have with numerous other institutions, getting all the attention, glory, and prizes for yourself. You really established dominance."
"Furthermore, due to your greatly charming and mesmerizing beauty, and your amazing humility and benevolence despite all these powers, most guys in here—about ninety percent of them, really like you and speak favorably well of you whenever they are asked about you wherever they go or find themselves."
"So, due to these reasons, and your unwitting release of that particularly powerful mystical fire, and then a particular key in your hand which only you possess in the whole school which was given to you by the founder of the institute itself—Vahanderr Znales, who only shows his face once in every two to five years, the hate towards you soared to the sky."
"As for the guys that have intense dislike towards you, they are probably the boyfriends or simps of the girls that hate you and would seemingly want nothing else in life than to bring you down by every means possible, essentially because you massively outdo and outshine them all the time."
"Hally, you are one insanely talented person. Haha. Even as I speak, recounting everything to you, I seriously can't help but feel jealous. No wonder those girls who wouldn't ever think of being your friend, hate you to the core of their being." Zena said and grinned. While Theraessa cackled too, but her eyes were shining with deep mystification.
'This particular body I got has this many glory-invoking talents? Wow. I lost one and got many more in return. Was I being favored by this universe, or it is just pure luck?'
'Can things really happen out of luck, or it is just the universe that wants it that way? Anyway, whatever the case may be, now that I have gotten this body to encase my soul, I will strive to be the best in this world.'
'Hally, from what I have heard so far, you sound like a really good and kind person who might be poor at making despotic, tyrannical decisions, and taking oppressive, iron-fisted action. But you have done absolutely well, and can rest easy now. While I, Theraessa, will take it from here.'
'So, to those that caused your untimely demise, I will bring them all to book. They shall know nothing but pain, agony, unceasing lamentation, and excruciating mental and physical suffering! And if anyone is involved in the mysterious death of your loving parent, they will experience my brutal, chilling, and excessive way of serving vengeful justice.'
'Then with your other undiscovered talents and present incredible abilities, I will gloriously rise to the peak of power in this world, exuding both majesty and glory that countless mortals and heavenly beings will endlessly awe, dread, and venerate.'
'Thank you for this opportunity, Hally. I vow to not embarrass you and ruin your dazzling, famed name.' Theraessa said with a bright glow of viciousness and ardent determination in her shining, attractive eyes.
