"Shit, I was too late!" Screamed Derugo as he stomped the ground.
"That voice, are you Derugo?!" Kiyo, was able to recognize the Dragonoid form of Derugo just by hearing his voice, despite he hid himself in the robe all the time. Derugo, muttered to himself for some reason, but his voice could be heard by Ryuma and Kiyo.
"THAT'S NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW!!! Haaahhh... I'm still angry for some reason. Why is this happening?... My body is burning all of a sudden..." At that time, Kiyo noticed the gas coming out from Derugo's body. Also, he noticed the purple fire from Derugo's mouth as he breathed.
"Ahhhhh... I can't control myself... I feel like I'm gonna destroy the whole place at this rate... TEN!!! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!! I'M GONNA EXPLODE IF YOU DON'T COME ANYTIME SOON!!!" At the same time, Derugo locked his eyes with Ryuma, Ryuma knew for a fact there wouldn't be any peace coming from this guy.
"KAH!" Ryuma jumped over Derugo as he charged towards Ryuma and gave an elbow to the back of his neck. The blow was devastating to Derugo he lost consciousness for a while. Knowing Derugo was unconscious, Ryuma took this opportunity to lock his arm to Derugo's neck and stay still at that spot.
Derugo barely regained his consciousness and he realized that he couldn't breathe as Ryuma locked his arm and lifted him like he was a bag of rice. Derugo's feet couldn't touch the ground and Derugo had difficulty in trying to escape from Ryuma's grasp as his skin turned pale.
Derugo tried to resist by clawing Ryuma's skin as he tried to break free, but it was futile because Ryuma ignored the pain from his claw.
"Just passed down already..." Ryuma grits his teeth as he tries to choke Derugo until he passes down, Kiyo on the other hand, is worried by the Purple Fire he saw from the instinct.
(I... I can't get away from this guy... Fuck, he's strong...) Derugo seems overwhelmed by Ryuma's strength as this is the first time they fought. As Derugo almost loses consciousness, somebody comes in and saves Derugo...
Kiyo sensed the incoming attack from the range and tried to warn Ryuma but Ryuma too seemed to have seen this coming. Ryuma let go of Derugo and dodged the long and sharp object and also the few daggers that were coming toward him.
"That sword... Rio?" Ryuma noticed the sword from its grip and shape. Then Ryuma looked in the direction of where the sword was coming from. Meryna, walked forward with Rio who had no limbs dragged on her back. Ryuma and Kiyo see this scene as horrific and approach Meryna as he charges toward her.
"RIOOO!!!" Ryuma's hand emanated the aura of Red Fire, and then a few Fireflies were fired towards her. Meryna let go of the thread which was connected to Rio and sprinted to Ryuma. Meryna was aware of the Firefly's capabilities as she evaded every single one of them.
But she was met with the Red light that crushed half her skull as she evaded the Firefly. Ryuma, using most of his strength punched the lights out of Meryna and she was sent flying to the back.
Meryna was sent through a few buildings until one of them stopped her. Half of her face was burning, but she couldn't feel the sense of pain as she was unaware of it. Her body gives out from nerve problems. Knowing Ryuma approaches the defenseless her, she uses the thread to defend herself.
But Ryuma leaped over the piercing thread at fast movement. Knock Meryna one more time before lifting her by her collar.
"Why did you do to him like that?..." Ryuma refers to Rio, whose limbs were cut all four of them. As Meryna grins, she tells the reason she cut off Rio's limbs.
"I didn't cut it, 'Riene' did. And she probably does it to try to save him." Ryuma was confused with Meryna's reason for 'saving him'.
"What do you mean?"
"Purple Fire, it was the dangerous fire that can burn one physical body along with its soul. The fire can decimate both Lifeforms and Deathforms. Which also, spread by the second it was burning. Even if the fire runs out, the burning wounds can spread, burning the souls from inside."
"So, you cut off his limbs because..."
"That's right, the Purple Fire burns them from the inside. Although I don't know why Riene decided to cut all four of them. And also, I did the same for your other friend too." Meryna refers to Mika who she just cut a while ago.
"Mika?!"
"Yeah, the Purple Fire was burning all over him. I don't know which one to cut, and so I cut him to bits, so the Purple Fire had a hard time spreading because of the decapitated nerve cut from within." Hearing Meryna's words, Ryuma crushes Meryna's head to bits.
"Shit, I don't know if I wanna be angry at you or feel better if your intention is to save them!" At the same time, Ryuma's sixth sense was tingling as someone came from behind him.
"So you're the one she said huh?!" Ryuma approached the approaching Dragonoid who used his wings to come towards him. Derugo raises his fist which were covered with Purple Fire. Ryuma dodged the fist by hair breath and did the same thing with his red fist.
"Red Fist!" It gave almost the same impact to Meryna, but his head was sturdy enough to absorb the damage. And then, the two exchange their blow. Sometimes Ryuma had to take the blow even if it made him suffer from within.
(It stings! But it didn't feel as bad as I thought it was! But it's still hurt either way, I need to end this guy, even if I had to kill him!)
Derugo launched the range attack, but Ryuma anticipated the attack as he evaded it, as Ryuma jumped, he gave a knee to Derugo's head. Derugo was sent to the back, and Ryuma then used this opportunity to spray the Red Fire on him.
"Flaming Roar!" The Red Fire made their way to Derugo who was on his butt. But then at the last second, somebody intercepts the fire as the giant rubble protects Derugo from Red Fire.
"This ability is..." Ryuma knew whose plan this was as he looked up. It was Alex who peeked from the rooftop. At the same time, Ryuma noticed some of his joints were tied by the pink thread. Meryna, with the crushed head, was able to speak as she still had her mouth.
"I hope to play with you some other time, but this is the end." As Meryna said that, she pulled the pink thread with all her might.
