Chapter 102 - Saving By A Hair Of Breath

"Many people have been thinking you have the ability to see the future because you moved before they attacked you. But it seems like they misunderstood it. You didn't have foresight, it's just that you're really good at reading moves."

At the same time Ryuma is talking, Ten is confused by something that's pierced his foot. Was it made of steel? Perhaps Ryuma dropped them while he himself was unaware of it.

(But if it's that then I would've heard something was dropped. This sharp object was sharp enough to pierce my boot, which is made of Great Wolf...)

"That's my blood. I splattered my blood to the front and used my wind magic to shape it before they were frozen. Creating a blood spike on the floor. If you truly have the foresight ability, you wouldn't have decided to set your foot into that spike."

As hearing Ryuma's words, Ten found it hard to acknowledge it as his eyes widened. The eyelids then half closed with a black gaze as Ten is talking.

"It's impossible, a sharp frozen blood couldn't easily be pierced through the boots made of Great Wolf. To even injure it, the weakest weapon to even scratch the Great Wolf is made from Black Iron."

After Ten spoke, he suddenly realized something; he was silent and thinking about something.

(Wait, it's possible... If he's from that 'race'...)

At that moment, Ryuma charged forward as the words came out of his mouth.

"Well, I wouldn't know what that boots is made of just by looking mate." Ryuma's right hand was covered with fire, then soon turned into Red Fire. Ryuma aimed at Ten's chest, which is an unavoidable target since Ten's foot was pierced by the blood spike.

"Red Punch!" Ryuma's punch almost reached the chest, at that moment, the punch phases through. No, it's redirected by Ten's mirror wormhole. The punch that's aiming for Ten currently made its way to Ryuma's headfront.

Ten was expecting Ryuma to hit himself at the moment, but he didn't expect it. Ryuma dodged his own punch by a hair breathe by moving his head. As the Red Fire grazed his cheeks a bit, Ryuma spoke.

"The same move won't fool me twice!" As Ryuma said that, Ten noticed Ryuma was about to use his left hand to throw a punch at him. The left hand made its way to Ten's ribcage, but Ten didn't have time to use the mirror to redirect the attack.

Ten can still react to the move as he blocked the left-handed punch with his right knee. But at that moment, neither Ryuma nor Ten didn't know their own physical prowess which was like its north and south poles.

Ryuma heard the sound of broken bone as his punch touched Ten's right knee. Meanwhile, Ten was sent out flying. But it didn't stop there as Ten phases through the Mirror portal to get above right behind Ryuma as he's about to reach the ground.

A few shots were fired, and Ryuma didn't have time to look behind but his sixth sense can tell he's right behind him. Covering his behind with thin earth scales while covering his head with his arm, the luck goes to Ryuma because none of the shots hits his vital spot. But second after, Ryuma was grazed by the dagger that almost hit his head but his arm was able to block it.

Ryuma spins his body to get a better view of Ten. But the dagger grazes him making his head dizzy as Ryuma almost lost the balance of his feet. Ten on the other hand, as he's about to hit the ground again, he disappears as if he phases through the floor.

Ryuma's instinct tells him. Ten was right behind him as he looked to his back. Ryuma was right, in the corner of his eyes, he saw Ten standing on one knee. While the sharp dagger and the handgun's barrel were pointed directly at Ryuma.

At this moment, Ryuma could barely do anything besides using the concrete to cover his behind while he fell to his own death. But as soon Ten made his moves, he noticed something was coming from his side. It was a flying blade, Ten was able to dodge it by a hair breath as he phases through the mirror as he fell on his back.

Standing on one knee in a distance, Ten was able to get a good look at the owner's blade.

"So you have come, Kyora Akumutsu." For a short name, Kiyo. If he's late even by a second, Ryuma would have been hit by a fatal move by now. Thanks to Kiyo, Ryuma was saved as he fell on his back and then quickly got back up.

Ten, with a broken right knee, and injured left foot which there's still a blood spike attached to it. Some parts of his skin were hit by the Explosion from Firefly and the burned wound was shown on his behind. Ten has taken a significant amount of damage in this match, but Ryuma and Kiyo knew they couldn't take their eyes off him as Ryuma was talking to Kiyo.

"Thanks, Kiyo, if you were late a bit, I think it's just gonna be you right now."

"No problem buddy. I was awake for a while, and decided to wait for the right moment to enter." After Kiyo finishes his sentence, Ryuma takes a deep breath...

"Then, what are we both waiting for? Our target is right front." As the two were slowly walking to injured Ten, something unexpected occurred as the two lost their balance on the ground.

*BOOM!!!*

The explosion can be heard from where they are. From the sound of it, it comes from below the building. Soon, both Ryuma and Kiyo could feel the gravity of the ground shifting. After a while, the two knew they couldn't sit any longer on the rooftop.

"You... What did you do?!" Ten, clinging to the fence not far from them, looked to Ryuma.

"Me? I'm just deciding your fate. That's all..."
