Derugo, not being able to move his wings, hands, and legs. Because of that, he fell flat to his ground. Rio, sees this as an opportunity as he imbued the sword with a flow of electricity and tried to cut Derugo's neck which is open bare in the air.
"Thunder Slash!!!" Rio put his everything into that one attack, the aura of electricity filled the space as the area was covered with smoke. Rio was the first one to get out of the smoke. As he was catching his breath, he looked at his sword, Inazumei.
(It's not enough... What the hell with the durability of his skin?! Perhaps my sword is not sharp enough? No, I blame everything on his skin! That's not the durability normal lifeform would have!)
As Rio thought, the smoke was clear out of view. There, standing Derugo, he scratches his neck, which Rio just attacked. On his neck, only shows the slight cut wound. Which Rio put all his effort into that one attack.
"It's itchy as hell It's annoying... Is this what you can do huh?!..." The gaze from Derugo once again sends shivers down Rio's spine. At that moment, Rio was hesitant to move. The panic in his mind tells him to move forward, attacking Derugo recklessly. The other part of his mind tells him to run away from that 'monster'.
But Rio was late to make a decision, since that 'monster' had already made his. Rio couldn't react at the moment. Derugo moves so fast as if he's pouncing on his prey.
At the next moment, Rio barely reacts as he flies to the back as Derugo, purposely punches Inazumei Rio was holding onto it. Rio crashed into the wall, The next second he regained consciousness, and he saw Derugo charging at him at great speed.
Rio's body was stuck inside the wall which is the reason he couldn't evade even if he wanted to. The alternative choice he has is to block him with his Mythril sword. The devastating impact of Derugo's hit sends Rio even deeper beyond the wall, just to meet with another wall.
Rio couldn't react as he was in a dark place. But the purple gaze tells him the exact moment when Derugo was about to attack. Another attack was blocked by Inazumei, but the impact sent Rio back under the blue sky.
Rio could barely hold on to his feet, but the moment his sight widened to get a clear picture, Derugo was already in front of him. As Derugo lifts his leg, a stance to kick a ball like he did to Meryna. Rio instinctively blocked the attack with his Mythril sword but was sent upwards instead.
Rio was flown into the air, he barely regained his consciousness. Soon, he felt the warm but hot palm holding on his face. Until when Rio just realized that Derugo had his head in the palm of his hand. As if he were hanging on the noose, Rio barely held on to Derugo's hand.
"Enough playing, It's about time I finish you off... Any last words weakling?" Said Derugo with a fierce and rough voice. But Derugo didn't realize that Rio couldn't talk because he shut his whole face.
"Ah shit, I forgot you couldn't talk like this." Derugo then proceeded to throw Rio to the ground at his full strength, as if it were some dirty rag. Rio fell with great speed, colliding with any concrete building in the way.
About five to six blocks, it was the amount of distance Rio just flew to. Before Rio knew it, he was unconscious as he was colliding against the building. The next time he regained consciousness once more, he could feel the intense amount of pain on his body.
The Pride Of Lightning And Thunder also increases the durability of his body but it was also the curse that Rio didn't die from the massive impact. At this time, Rio wishes he died from the impact as he's in massive pain with the broken bone on almost every part of his body.
Rio tried to move his body but the slight movement was filled with intense pain. Even so, since he was barely clinging to life, he might as well run away. But that plan instantly went down to drain as he was stared at by the purple gaze from above.
"Uh, it's bad that you're still alive. Ten said their suffering was longer as my opponent was in this sorry state. Sorry, I'm not really good at this stuff."
After saying that, Derugo shows the palm of his hand. Soon to be filled with the purple flame. In the next moment, Derugo proceeds to finish Rio with the purple fire. Rio closed his eyes as Derugo finished him off.
But Rio didn't feel anything different but the pain of the broken bones he received earlier. When he opened his eyes, there he was again, the sight of a savior covered in sunlight.
Mika, just in time protects Rio from the purple fire. While holding the Mechamer in his hands, he gazes back upon the purple gaze that's floating in the sky. Derugo, once again feels irritated...
"Damn you, one after another... This time I'll make sure to finish you-" As Derugo was talking, the sound of alarm ringing inside of his pocket. It was the talkie-walkie. Derugo answers the walkie-talkie, and from the other side, comes out Ten's voice.
"Derugo..."
"TEN! ABOUT TIME I HEARD YOUR VOICE! TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE SO I CAN PUMMEL YOUR FACE-"
"That's not important right now. Listen..."
...
"He seems to be distracted by something, one two..." Mika princess carried Rio whose bones were breaking in every joint to the safe place. Far away from Derugo's eyes.
While being carried, Rio feels a sense of relief as the pain has gone from his body. Bit by bit, he can slowly move his finger because Mika slowly healing him. Some time passed, and Mika finally stopped and leaned Rio against the wall.
"There, I think we lost him, for now. Phew, you got into quite the situation there didn't you?" Rio can barely answer Mika's question as he's coughing. At the same time, Rio's eyes were locked to Mika's burned hand.
"Mika, why didn't you heal your hand?" After hearing Rio's question, it only takes a second for Mika to realize it.
"Ah ah ouch ouch! I just realized it. Fuck it stung!" Second after, the burned wound on Mika's hand was surrounded by the green light. But, there wasn't any effect even after the minute.
"It's weird, I can't heal it..." Hearing Mika's words, Rio was surrounded by a state of confusion.
"Eh?..."
