Rudy thinks it was the rubble, but the sound from its fall doesn't seem it's made of stone. Rudy can't help but be curious. Perhaps he will finish Mika first and check it later.
But that distraction bites Rudy in the back. As Mika charged at him, Rudy's foot was off the ground getting dragged by Mika. Mika charged him onto the wall. Lock on the place, Mika wanted to give Rudy a few good punches but he wasn't fast enough.
Rudy's fist locked on Mika's cheeks. Created an aura of fire, then it exploded. Right on Mika's face. Mika survived the explosion but was confused about how the explosion occurred from Rudy's fist. Rudy's second fist also was the same. Its fist explodes on Mika's opposite face. Then, explosion to the abdomen. Sending Mika backward.
"I was gonna say, you make a good punching bag. But that healing regeneration is too fast I almost mistook you for Vampire King. So I have to start targeting the vital spot. Like the brain." Something flew off from Rudy's arm. Rudy caught it before it fell to the floor. That thing started to extend itself like Bat'Oren.
In the form of a spear, Rudy slowly walked to Mika. Mika also did not give up as he picked up his giant hammer as he gets up. The two started to fasten their movement speed. But something interrupted them. By something, it's actually 'someone'.
("T-This guy is!")
Someone grabbed Rudy's leg as they were coming toward each other. Interrupted by someone, Rudy decides to try to attack Mika from his position. But Mika leans his head a bit indicating Rudy's attack misses. What's next is Mika gets a clean hit on Rudy.
Rudy flew far crashing every wall he could count. But the real thing is, Mika did not know if he'd ever survived after taking that hit. Second later, his eyes caught on the hand that was grabbing Rudy earlier. It appears someone was under the rubble so Mika moved the rubble away and saw a person under them.
At first, Mika couldn't recognize it because he had burned scars all over his body. But, the more he looks at him, the more recognizable his appearance is. Mika finally recognized him after 30 seconds of staring at him.
"Ryuma!" Ryuma does not answer, but instead stares at Mika. Perhaps he can't speak when he's in that state.
In instinct, Mika crouched over and healed him. After a while, the skin has restored on him. The same for the hair. And to his appearance. Mika's healing capability has healed Ryuma from the skinless, unrecognizable body back to his form. Can't say the same about the clothes though. He's only in his underwear with some ripped-up clothes on him.
Ryuma sits from lying on the ground and sees his body return to normal state. The first thing that comes from his mouth is...
"Are you really Mika? Are you not his long-lost brother or something?"
"I'm Mika bruh! Can't you recognize this handsome face?!"
"Mika I know only look dumb when he has his glasses on. Your face is kind of cool it pisses me off."
"Fuck you! This is the first thing you said when your friend saved your life?!" Mika shouts while Ryuma closes both his ears off. Soon after, the whistle flew between both of them. The explosion was as big as when Rudy blew Ryuma up.
"Well, well well. Look who's coming back from the dead!" Rudy walked from the destroyed wall he crashed into. While pouring the bottle of water from his head to his toe.
"Well, you learned new things every day. And I learned mine too. Always make sure the guy is dead." Ryuma only looked at him but Mika was confused as to how Rudy was able to survive his hit. He should possibly have broken bones on every part of his body.
("But He's unscathed, how?! If someone was to get hit that hard I doubt he could not move after that...") As Mika is confused, Ryuma interrupts him.
"Mika, I smell gunpowder..."
"What?!" What did Ryuma mean by that? That is what Mika is thinking. But he is not wrong, Mika vividly smells it too. But as the second goes by, the smell gets stronger. At that moment, he knew both of them had to get out of there.
Both Ryuma and Mika runs away from Ryuma. As they ran, Mika turned his head back. And saw the small light, suddenly become bigger in a matter of seconds. It takes a second for him to know it was a fire. Soon, the air itself became fire. Covering Ryuma and Mika.
Thankfully, they both managed to get out before the fire damaged them. But Rudy did not let them breathe just yet. He comes out from the sea of flames and uses the explosive punch on Ryuma.
("This punch is!") Ryuma blocked it but the explosion sent him back with some burned scars on him. Mika tried to attack at the same time, but Rudy threw some kind of powder on him.
("Shit! I breathe in it!") It took a while for Mika to realize it was some kind of poison powder. Ryuma then tried to attack Rudy from behind while he was busy with Mika but it didn't end well for him. Rudy uses Spinning Hook Kick on him but Ryuma manages to grab his naked leg.
But what happens next Ryuma can feel his skin burning. On the palm of his hand, and his cheeks that comes in contact with Rudy's leg. Makes Ryuma immediately let go of it. What happened after Ryuma let go of Rudy's leg was that two missiles blew up on Ryuma. The impact is sending him about 10-20 meters. But, Rudy was impressed because he survived it.
"You're covering your hand and body with earth magic in order to reduce damage. That's reckless and this is the first time I've seen someone do it. But if it works it works. And that's going in my data too if you don't mind it."
("Damn, I still hurt from the burning wound. And when I grabbed him by his leg, I still felt the burning sensation from it. I think it was from the liquid, the sweat. Wait, sweat? If that's the case why isn't it affects him? Whatever the case is I'm going to find out!")
